Forbidden Passion

Chapter 6

I haven't spoken to Samantha this entire week, ever since she was flirting with Mr. Foss. Becky's brother Ronel offered to stay with us for the week and he has been very responsible, driving us to school, picking us up from school, making us breakfast, lunch and dinner, I wish Samantha could be more like him. Today we are going to Mr. Foss' house, who I have also been ignoring this entire week but this time he couldn't be bothered. I pack clothes for the weekend and I am very nervous because I don't want to talk to him but I am forced to this weekend and to make matters worse, he is giving us a test on Monday on the new topic.

"Have you carried everything?" Ronel asks as he loads our bags into the boot.

"I know I have, I don't know about little Ms. Flirty pants." I say.

"Maybe little Ms. Jealous pants knows better." Samantha says as we get into the car.

"Boy oh boy is the uni going to scream, Catherine wearing clothes and not uniform on a Friday. Wow!" Samantha says.

I basically ignore her like I have been doing for the past week when she makes her usual sarcastic comments. I decided to wear clothes only because I feel it is pointless wearing uniform if nobody else ever does it with me. Ronel parks the car in the school car park next to Mr. Foss' car, who is waiting for us.

"Good morning ladies." Mr. Foss as he opens the boot of his car for us to place our bags in.

"Good morning Jake."Samantha says excitedly then gives him a hug. I ignore him and pack my bags in his boot.

"I will give the house keys to Dan so your parents can get them from him. Its been nice staying with you guys and I hope we can do it again." Ronel says then shakes Samantha's hand but when he reaches out to shake my hand, I give a tight hug.

"Goodbye, I am really going to miss you." I say

It is finally the end of the day. I couldn't wait for University to end. I couldn't stand everyone staring at me like I am a creep. I walk to Mr. Foss' classroom and take a seat at one of the chairs without uttering a word. Alicia walks in with a huge smile on her face as Ray stands at the door waiting for her. 

Sometimes I wish I could be Alicia, she is so perfect, with her gorgeous green eyes, straight black hair and a natural tan.  She is so beautiful and most of all so popular. Literally every guy gives her attention, including Ray Grenere, who I have had a crush on since seventh grade. We ended up in the same University, doing the same foundation course and I bet he doesn't even know my name.

"Stop staring at Ray." Stella mouths as she walks in then playfully slaps my shoulder.

"Hello Jake, I just came to say goodbye, before the weekend." Alicia says then stands by his desk.

"My favorite part of Friday, this is why I look forward to Fridays." Mr. Foss says then gets up and shakes Alicia's hand.

She pecks him on the cheek but he quickly pulls away then says "Have an amazing weekend Alicia, stay safe."

"Thank you Jake." She says then skips out of class. Ray places his arm around her waist and they walk away.

"What did you want me to do if he is so beautiful." I say to Stella.

"Stella would you help me carry my stuff." Mr. Foss says then gets up and hands her a briefcase as he carries a sports bag and multiple books. He walks out of class as Stella and I walk behind him.

We follow them to the car and find Samantha already standing and waiting for Mr. Foss and I. Stella places his briefcase in the car boot before he places the remaining things.
