It has been three weeks since I last spoke to Mr. Foss. Trey and I have gone on a few dates as well as double dates with Sean and Stella. I am really starting to  like him because he is the coolest person I have ever met. He makes me laugh, he is so cute, we have so much in common and he agrees to keep things cool in University.

"Good morning class, as you all know we have a big week ahead of us." Miss. Brittany says as she paces up and down the front of the class.

Brittany and Mr. Foss have been getting on quite well I must say. They give each other secret eye contacts, hang out after class and I think he drops her home sometimes because she doesn't drive. I am not going to lie I still really like Mr. Foss; but I have learnt to focus on my life and leave him with all these women chasing after him.

"I seriously don't understand a single thing from the time you started assisting this course." Alicia says.

"Then maybe you need to go to beginners maths, where the illiterates are." Miss. Brittany says. She is the most obnoxious person I have ever met in my entire life.

"As long as you won't be the teacher there will be no illiterates." Ray responds. I think he must like Alicia so much because he is always sticking up for her.

"Mr. Foss and I have set up an intense homework and this is to challenge your maths skills. It will be due tomorrow and each and everyone of you has to do it. I hope I make myself clear." she says, ignoring Ray's comment.

All the guys love her because she dresses like an attention seeking whore but I can't be bothered because this is Alicia's battle. I have never seen Alicia hate anyone so much for taking the attention away from her. The class goes quite well, with the usual chat between the newly found love birds, Mr. and Mrs. Foss.

"Hey babe." Trey says then pecks me on the lips at the end of class while everyone packs up to leave.

I notice Mr. Foss doesn't look too happy about that. I give Trey a passionate hug and peck him on the lips again a bit longer before walking out of the class with him. I have been dying for a moment like this for two weeks and I will make the best of it while I can.

"Can you hold my stuff babe, I need to use the bathroom." I say to Trey as Stella walks towards us.

"We will just catch you in the cafeteria Catherine." Stella says as her and Trey walk away.

I have started to invest in makeup because it makes me feel so pretty and different. Many people say I have changed, especially Samantha and my parents but I feel like I have just grown up. I fix my concealer before putting on lipgloss.

"I didn't think I would find you in here." Miss. Brittany says as she walks towards me in the bathroom.

"Yeah because this is a public bathroom for all females in this University right?" I respond with my attention on my lip gloss.

"I will have you know I heard everything you said to Jake a few weeks ago in his classroom."

"Good for you, now I don't have to pretend in front of you anymore." I say

"He is too old for you and he will never want to be with a little hopeful girl like you. It was all for pity because young girls like you are just fun and games. You need to go to the playground where the other 12 year olds are because Jake is too old for you." she says then fixes her hair in the mirror.

"What is your issue with me huh? Jake doesn't even like you. You are just a co-worker that he entertains." I say defensively. I did not know how angry I am about their friendship until now.

"You do realize that I can report you to the head of school. A young girl that can't act her age and tries to sleep with her lecturers. Not so smart anymore are you Catherine?"

"Well at-least I am not trying to sleep with my colleagues only three weeks into my job. How much more exciting would that be?" I say now focusing my attention on her.

"I guess it will mean both of us get kicked out and we don't want that right? So focus on your studies, leave Jake alone and stay out of my way." she says then walks out.

I haven't even been involved with Mr. Foss and I don't even want to anymore. I hate them both so much. I head to the cafeteria because I can't wait to tell Stella about my confrontation with her.

"Hey Catherine!" I hear Mr. Foss yell from behind me.

"Yeah?" I respond then turn back.

"I just wanted to ask if you could join the maths league. You would be excited to know that we are planning on going to the biggest maths challenge in the country." he says.

" Why don't you ask Brittany, she seems quite brainy from what I have seen." I say.

"Look if this is about that night or what happened in my room three weeks ago, I am really sorry. I would appreciate it if we just put it behind us and we move on."

"It is like you read my mind Jake. Thank you, I am glad you understand." I say then walk into the cafeteria.

Can this day get anymore dramatic. Three weeks later and I become important, did they get bored of each other or something.

"Took you long enough." Trey says while putting his arm around my shoulder as I seat besides them and wrap my arms around his waist.

"Is everything okay? I saw you talking to Mr. Foss in the corridor." Stella says.

"Yeah yeah, everything is good. He just wanted me to join the maths league." I say then unwrap my arms.

"Are you considering it?" She asks

"Of course not Stella. I would never be so stupid. I will fill you in on everything soon."

It is finally home time and I fill Stella in on what happened with Brittany Mr. Foss as we walk to her car. She is in so much shock and it makes me glad to know that someone understands the way I feel.

"He gets more and more unattractive the more you tell me about him. I feel like him and Brittany were meant for each other." Stella says

"I am glad I have Trey now and you have Sean so we don't have to waste our time with any of these grown ups." I say

"Speaking of grown ups, do you think Mr. Foss and his mistress are arguing?" Stella asks.

I look over at what she is looking at and Miss. Brittany is pointing fingers at Mr. Foss while he tries to calm her down. I feel like there is more to this story that I clearly do not want to involve myself in. Could they not decide to argue in front of the University premises?
