Chapter 17

"I will see you on Monday when we go on the trip." Mr. Foss says as he drops me home at 7am. I look like a mess with my hair in a messy bun and my pajamas on.

"Sure." I say

"I know I came off as defensive last night but Catherine, I don't want you to lose your family for me. I want you to have what you had before you were with me and always have it."

"I understand babe don't worry." I say then kiss him. I sneak back into my room and unlock my door. I feel so sick and tired as I lie on my bed. My body is aching so much and I feel sore downstairs. Mr. Foss gave me a pill that he called "morning after pill" and said that it is a must that I take them. 

"Catherine, where is my red dress?" Samantha asks as she storms into my room while I take the medication.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I say.

"What are you taking."

"Pain killers for my period. Leave my room please, I don't have your dress so deal with it." I lie as she storms out of my room.

I get a text from Trey and Samantha telling me that they have news for me that will shock me but I don't respond because all I want to do right now is shower and sleep.

"Catherine are you all packed and ready for Paris?" mum asks as she walks into my room.

"Yes mum,I have all my documentation." I say as I take my bag down stairs.

My family and I all get into dad's car and he drives to University. I feel like I am moving into student accommodation with how mum came with us today, just to say goodbye.

"I will miss you so much my baby. See you in five days." mum says then gives me a tight hug and a kiss on my cheek.

"I love you mum, I love you dad." I say then give my dad a tight hug and a kiss. Samantha just walks to class without even saying goodbye but I don't blame her. I opened up to her about stealing her dress and shoes that she got really mad. I know she will get over it by the time I come back so I will give her time.

"Catherine did you not get my message?" Trey asks as he sits next to me on the bus.

"Catherine, what is with you and ignoring our calls. Do you just plan to go missing all the time?" Stella says as she sits in front of me.

"Sorry guys I was just trying to catch up on my studies for the rest of the weekend. Whats up though, I see you two have become besties."

"Well, we wanted to tell you what we found out about Mr. Foss. It will make you realize why you should not-"Stella says

"I should not be with him, because he is so bad for me. I should be careful, he is such a horrible person. That is all I ever hear from you guys. Why can't anyone just be happy for me for once. He is a really nice person and he makes me so happy." I say interrupting Stella.

"Well if he makes you so happy why don't you know everything about him Catherine?  He has you wrapped around his finger you can't even think for yourself anymore." Trey says then moves to sit with Stella.

"So are you two going to team up against me?" I ask.

"You don't get it Catherine, ever since you started getting involved with Mr. Foss, you have become so blind. You were the smartest and most judgmental person but now you can't even judge your own situation. Well done Catherine, you let your guard down, the only thing remaining is for you to have Mr. Foss tell you how to live your life." Stella says then faces the front.

"Well he doesn't, thanks for the very strong judgement Stella. If I asked for it, I would appreciate it but I don't." I say then roll my eyes.
