Forbidden Passion

Chapter 5

Its finally Monday morning and I couldn't help but think about what happened Saturday night with Mr. Foss. I am starting to get the feeling he is interested in me now.

"After school we can go to Mr. Foss' house to make arrangements okay, please inform him." Dad says while parking the car in the school driveway.

"I will do that dad." Samantha responds before I can say anything.

"Yeah because he is your lecturer so you should be the one to do so. Bye dad." I say then get out of the car and walk besides Samantha.

"That way you can keep your tongue to yourself. You are so lucky I called your name because if mum and dad saw that, you would be out of this institution." She says then walks ahead of me as I walk to maths class.

I have no idea how things will turn out between Mr. Foss and I. I just hope that he doesn't make it too obvious to the class that we got intimate.

Mr. Foss greets us and looks straight at me before asking "What is for today Catherine?"

"We finish go over the corrections that we started last session as a class." I say with a big smile on my face.

"Are you willing to go over the first three?" He asks.

"No problem." I say then get up and do the work.

I can feel Mr. Foss starting at me in a way that he never has and it makes me feel special. When I am done with doing my part of the corrections, Stella volunteers to do the next three. He suddenly changes and pays attention to Stella and to my annoyance, he is looking at her the exact same way. We spend the rest of the class correcting the final mistakes ourselves. I look up once in a while to glance at Mr. Foss and he is too busy writing stuff down that he doesn't even look up at me.

The bell goes and I walk out of class quickly, with the hope that Mr. Foss would call me back, which he doesn't.

"Would you believe me if I told you I kissed Mr. Foss?" I whisper to Stella as we walk to Chemistry class.

"What? But you said you are not interested in him Catherine! I can't believe you would do that even after I told you that I like him!" She says angrily.

"Stella we were caught in the moment, plus I still don't like him I promise, like why would I ever do that to you."

"I still can't believe you would throw yourself at him. He is not your man or your age."

"Gosh you are acting like his girlfriend. I will avoid him at all costs, just for you." I lie then give her a tight hug and walk into chemistry class before she can say anything else. I honestly don't understand what it is with Stella and Mr. Foss because she already has a boyfriend. But who am I to judge, I kissed a man that just recently broke up with his girlfriend.

"Hello sir!" I say as I walk into Mr. Foss' class at home time.

"Hello Catherine." he says then stands up and walks away from his table towards me.

"I just wanted to confirm a few things about Saturday night." I say as I walk towards him. Before he can say anything I place my left arm around his neck, my right finger against his lips and say "Shhhhhh."

He doesn't respond but looks me straight in the eye, I feel myself get so excited that this time I don't avoid eye contact. I put my right hand on his chin and pull him closer. Mr. Foss turns his head to the side and places his knuckles against his lips, causing me to pull away.

I have never been so embarrassed and rejected in my life. Mr. Foss stands in the same position for a bit before walking towards his desk again. I am so angry at myself and him for rejecting me, but I am so confused at the same time. I walk towards the door as I literally have no words, just shame for throwing myself at him, as Stella said earlier today.

"Catherine wait!" Mr. Foss calls when I reach the door.

"Yeah?" I say then walk back into class.

"Please try to pull up your grade up because I know you can do much better." He says now seated at his desk.

"It is not something you need to worry about." I say then walk away but when I reach the door, Samantha is standing there.

"Catherine, did you already inform Mr. Foss?" She asks as she pushes me back into the room.

"Inform me what?" Mr. Foss asks before getting up and walking towards us.

"Dad said we will pass through today so that arrangements can me made." Samantha says.

"Sure thing." Mr. Foss says then glances at me before diverting his attention back to Samantha.

"Did I mention how hot you looked at uncle Dan's wedding?" Samantha asks then starts playing with her hair.

"Did I mention you looked stunning, I literally couldn't help but wonder who you were. We have never spoken have we?" He says then smiles at her.

"No we haven't but I guess us staying with you for a while will give us some bonding time. I didn't think you noticed me at the wedding though."

"I mean who wouldn't?" He asks then Samantha giggles.

I can't stand watching these two annoying shits flirt with each other. I storm out of his classroom without saying a word because this is not what I ever expected from Samantha, better still Mr. Foss.

I get into the car and bang the door. Dad doesn't say a word and I assume it is because he knows I am mad.

"Where is your sister?" He asks.

"She is busy, she will be here soon." I say then stare out the window.

Samantha walks besides Mr. Foss to the car. She is giggling as he tells her something and it angers me so much.

"Hello Mr. Cole, Samantha here tells me you wanted to come over today." Mr. Foss says once they reach the car.

"Hello Jake, we just wanted to confirm that you are fine with having them on Friday after school as we have a relative who will be with them for the week so during the weekend till next Monday, you can be with them." Dad says as he greets Mr. Foss.

"Fine by me. Catherine is a brilliant student so whatever makes her comfortable, makes me comfortable." He says then smiles at me, but I roll my eyes.

"Thank you so much Jake, I really appreciate it." Dad says then gets into the car.

Samantha gives Mr. Foss a hug, which he doesn't return before getting into the car. She doesn't say a word to me but constantly blushes and giggles.
