Forbidden Passion

Chapter 18

Mr. Foss asked me to go to his place today so that he can talk to me about what happened when we were on the trip. I don't know how to convince my parents about going out today but I feel like mum is starting to annoy me.

"Mum can I go to Stella's to get something? I forgot something at her place." I say.

"Catherine you only came back from your trip yesterday and you are going to see her tomorrow at school, can't it wait?" she says.

"This is why I say I want to move out, because then I won't need to keep being restricted. I am not a child anymore gosh!" I say.

"I have no problem with you going but you just go out so often. Do you still have time for your studies?" she says.

"Yes mummy I do, I will only be half an hour." I say then peck her on the cheek.

"Cant Samantha drop-"

"Mum, Stella drives, remember?" I say then run out the door.

Mr. Foss is parked at the usual place and I am so glad to see him. No matter how much I try to be angry, every time I see him it makes me so happy.

"Hey Catherine." He says then kisses me on the lips.

"Hey. I only have half an hour." I say.

He takes me to a dessert place and it looks so beautiful. I really wish he made me mad more often so we could come here.

"So, is this your way of apologizing." I say as we get seated.

"I am not sorry for anything. It is my way of making it up to you. I want to see my woman happy." he says then smiles.

"I just want to know why you had another woman in your room."

He explains to me what happens with his friend and it all makes sense. I wish I asked there and then or just walked in to talk to Mr. Foss. I knew there should have been an explanation for what happened.

"It makes sense now. I am just really happy that you did not cheat because it would have given me a heart attack." I say

"I like that you handled it very well, you are a very strong girl Catherine and I want you to always be strong. Life won't always turn out the way you want it to and people are not always as they seem so just always be strong."

"What do you mean?"

"I want you to come home with me." he says then gives me a cheeky smile.

"I would love to." I say then smile back.

I am more than glad I cleared the air with Mr. Foss and we are now back together. I hope we can continue seeing each other when I start my degree course. We can hopefully plan everything when the course is finished

Its around 3 am in the morning and I slept off at Mr. Foss' house. I am going to be in so much trouble with mum. I left my phone in my room and I can't tell if anyone tried to reach me. We got so caught up by the time we were done, I was too tired to leave.

"Jake!" I yell then shake him as he sleeps besides me.

"Yeah."

"Today is Monday, I need to go home." I say then panic to get dressed and pack my things together.

He cruises to my house and I have never felt so stupid in my life. I should have just left after we had desserts and none of this would have happened. I find that mum left the door unlocked and dinner for me on the table and it makes me so sad. Maybe she is right, what have I become? I put my entire life aside for Mr. Foss. I can't remember the last time I had dinner with my family and I honestly miss them. I go upstairs to get ready for school then wait downstairs for everyone else while I study. I have five missed calls from Stella, six missed calls from mum, I might be grounded again.
