I stood alone, almost naked, in front Bryan's mirror in his extremely small bathroom. I was gonna try on a dress. Bryan and I had gone shopping an hour ago. Because when we got home from the casting-building, we both remembered that none of us had anything classy to wear. So we drove a little way to a shop that sold semi-classy outfits. I bought a nude lace minidress with bare shoulder-straps. It wasn't extremely expensive, but still, I had to make sure I didn't use all my money on clothes and one-time equipment. Bryan bought a black suit and a white shirt. He was gonna get ready in his "kitchen" (yeah, you couldn't really call it a kitchen. It was more of a lille corner with a sink, mini refrigerator and a microwave) while I was getting dressed in the bathroom. His apartment was really small, but still, it had detail and it was charming... just like Bryan.

I sighed and put on the dress. I zipped the dress and straightened the poofy skirt. I was wearing my nude stilettos and had already curled my hair and applied a light make-up. I was kinda bummed that Melissa wasn't there to apply my make-up no more.

Earlier I had called Tommy and the others and told them the news. They were all super excited and wished me luck for tomorrow. I had filled out the paper that Angela gave me and the other casters.

There were written some information about my audition tomorrow. I was gonna read some lines with Angela. But Bryan was gonna help me with that tomorrow.

I looked at myself one last time in the mirror before I went outside the bathroom. I found Bryan sitting in his red beanbag in his handsome black suit. He looked at me.

"Wauw. Liz, you look... like a million bucks," he said, stood up and took my hand. "I really wanna kiss you, but I'm afraid that I might ruin your make-up." he joked. I laughed. I felt my cheeks burning up.

"Shall we?" I asked. Bryan smiled and went with me outside. Sam and her boyfriend Deuce stood outside by a black Cadillac. My jaw almost dropped. I love Cadillacs. Deuce was standing, holding Sam's hand, in a black suit with a black tie. His hair was caramel and slightly curly. A real cutie. But not as cute as Bryan. Sam was wearing a tight red dress with bateau-neck. She had curled her hair and  had added a red carpet inspired make-up look. She looked a million bucks. I looked like a cheap wannabe.

"Sam! You look gorgeous!" said Bryan. I kept his hand tight. I didn't want him to let go of me to hug Sam. But he ignored it and our hands split. He hugged Sam and she hugged him back. Deuce had in the meantime let go of Samantha's hand to greet me.

"Hi. I'm Deuce." he said and shook my hand. I smiled.

"Lizzie." I introduced. There were a moment of silence. I cleared my throat.

"So, you're Samantha's rich boyfriend..." I started awkwardly. Deuce started laughing.

"Well, I suppose so. Is that what she calls me?" he asked and put his hand on his hip.

"No not really. But you have a Cadillac so.." I said. Deuce cut me off.

"Oh, that's my fathers car. He's in Hong Kong for some business meetings and I'm taking care of it. You know, making sure that it actually comes out of the garage and sees the daylight." he joked. I chuckled.

"By the way. Is it your birthday today?" I asked. I didn't want to wish him happy birthday if it wasn't his birthday today.

"It is, yes." he said and nodded.

"Cool, happy birthday! How old are you now then?" I asked.

"23. So, I'm a big boy now." he joked. He started laughing, and to not seem like a lost girl on tracks, I laughed along with him. Bryan and Sam came back from their conversation.
