Lizzie and her friends are on a trip to Disney World. Right when Lizzie doesn't think it can get better, she meets a new guy; Tarzan.
(This story has "facts" that are not entirely true. I've tried to describe the surroundings as good as possible. Bu...
I had now been a full time actress at Walt Disney World for a little more than a month. It was now the 8th of October. And the whole park was already bedazzled with Halloween decorations. Pumpkins, scarecrows and fake spiderweb was to be seen everywhere.
I loved halloween. I loved how we took the things scary and made it festive. Although, the last few weeks, Angela have been very observant of me. Every time I do some sort of performance or meet and greet, she's always there. Looking at me and taking notes.

"Hey, could you pass me the milk?" I asked Bryan who's mouth was filled with cereal. He handed me the milk carton. I poured the milk in my bowl and began to eat.
"It's lovely to have a day off." I said to Bryan who nodded in agreement. I was about to add something to my sentence when my phone rang. I swallowed my cereal and grabbed my phone.
"Hello?"
"Yes, hi, this is Angela, could you step into my office today?" Oh no. Did I do something wrong? I turned towards Bryan. He could hear Angela's voice through my phone and had stopped eating. I took a deep breath.
"Yes, of course, may I ask what it's about?" I asked nervously.
"You'll know when you get here. See you at 11?" Angela asked. It wasn't much of a question, 'cause I couldn't really say no. Even though it was my day off.
"Yeah, of course. I'll be there in 20 minutes." I said and hung up. I sighed and went over to Bryan.
"Sorry, I have to go. Angela want's to see me." I said miserable. Bryan swallowed his cereal.
"Yeah, I heard. You want me to drive you?" he asked. I shook my head.
"No, you should get some time to relax. I'll drive to Angela's office myself." I said and kissed the top of his head. I then finished my bowl of cereal, put on some clothes, brushed my hair and went outside to the car after kissing Bryan goodbye.
The car ride wasn't too long. I remembered the route to Angela's office in the back of the Magic Kingdom Park. I parked the car and went inside her office.
It was chilly in the waiting room. I was the only one there besides a mousy secretary.
"Angela is not occupied, so you can go inside if you want." she said and went back to typing on her computer. I thanked her and gently knocked on Angela's door. I heard a soft "Come in" and opened the door.
Angela looked like herself. She was wearing her usual long black pantsuit and cateye-glasses. She looked up from her computer and smiled when she saw me. Was I in trouble or not?
"Lizzie, lovely to see you again. Sit down." she said and pointed at the stool in front of her desk. I quickly sat down.
"Am I in trouble?" I quickly asked. Angela looked confused at me and then started to snort-laugh.
"No, dearest, no. I want to disguss some "business" with you." she said and applied a new layer of red lipstick in her already blood red lips.
"Business?" I asked. What was going on?
"Yes. As you already know, and might have noticed. It get's colder here in Florida the closer we get to winter. And unfortunately we don't need a Tarzan, Terk or a Jane for autumn or winter." she said. My heart almost stopped. What did she mean by "they didn't need us"?
"I'm sorry, but just to make this clear... You're firing Bryan and I?" I asked almost out of air.
"Oh heavens no, dear! I want to offer you another job!" Angela said. Another job? I felt stupid.
"Another job? As what? I just got used to playing Jane." I said and looked down in floor. I felt like everything I'd worked for, was for nothing. I wanted to say something. But I didn't know what.
"You have met Sofie already, right?" Angela then asked. I nodded. The girl playing Wendy. "Well, she's not gonna be here from the 22nd of October to the end of February. So we need someone who can take her place for those 4,5 months as Wendy. And I know you make a divine british accent, so I think you'll be a great replacement. Of course, you'll get your other job back when Sofie's back." she said and smirked at me. Replacing Sofie? Being Wendy did sound interesting. But what about Bryan?
"Will Bryan loose his job?" I asked.
"Of course not, he's probably gonna do some dancing or other acting. But that's none of your business. I'm gonna call him later tomorrow. What I need to know is if you're in." she said a little more serious.
"Can I call you when I after I talk to Bryan?" I asked. Angela squinted her eyes. "I promise that I'll call you right after the talk!" I ensured. Angela sighed and then nodded.
"Fine. Talk to your boyfriend. But remember, don't make any decisions that aren't yours. If Bryan keeps you from taking the job. Well... you know, just do what's best for you. Show business is a lonely road." she said and burst out a frighteningly loud laugh. She then looked at me, stopped laughing, cleared her throat and swished me away.
"Leave, now. Call me the second you make up your mind today." she said and continued writing on her keyboard. I nodded and left in silence.
------------------------------
"Bryan, honey, we need to talk." I said nervously as I sat next to Bryan in our bed. He looked up from his phone and gave me a worried look.
"Oh man, what did Angela say to you? Did you get fired? Please say that you didn't get fired!" he burst out. I calmed him down and assured him that I didn't get fired.
"Angela offered me a new position as Wendy." I said. Bryan got quiet. Almost mute. He couldn't squeeze a single word. "Please say something," I said.
"Are you accepting?" he then asked while looking down, not wanting to look me in the eyes.
"I don't know. I wanted to make sure that you didn't feel like I abandoned you or anything." I admitted. He nodded as a sign of understanding. He sighed and looked me in the eyes.
"Do whatever feels comfortable. If you wanna be Wendy, you do that. I shouldn't stop you." he said and took my hand. I smiled.
"Great, thanks. Angela should be calling you sometime today too and talk about what you should start on this winter. What did you do last year?" I asked.
"I was a dancer at different parades. I might do that too this year. It depends on what Angela says." he told me. I didn't know Bryan danced. Well, you learn something new everyday I thought to myself.
I kissed Bryan's cheek and went into the kitchen to call Angela. I dialed her number on my phone and waited for her voice in the other end.
"This is Angela speaking." she said.
"Hi, Angela, it's Lizzie, I just called you to tell you that I'd love to be your new Wendy!" I said excited. Angela congratulated and seemed just as excited as I was.
"Great, come to my office tomorrow, I'll introduce you to your instructor that will teach you all about being the perfect Wendy Darling! You'll be learning new dance moves, make-up looks, autograph signing and much more!" she said excited. Then she hung up.
