"I swear, Melissa, there was a spark!" I insisted, lying on the hotel bed. It was 6pm, and we were all about to get ready to get dinner soon. Allan had reserved a table for us at the "Be Our Guest" restaurant. I forgot my favorite dress at home, so I had to borrow one from Melissa.

"Liz, he's an actor. It was probably all fake." said Melissa annoyed.

"But I seriously felt something. I can't ignore a spark like that right?" I was so confused.

"I don't know, Liz, but don't think about that now. Put on this dress, and let's get moving." said Melissa. I sighed, stood up and undressed to put on Melissa's violet dress and some black heels to match. Melissa helped me with some eyeliner, the gothic lipstick and the curls in my dark chocolate brown hair.

"Thanks." I said and gave her a hug. Melissa and I have been friends since High School. I was the only one in our grade who believed in her dream of becoming a real Disney Princess. I wanted to be one myself, but not as much as her. She had the long golden locks, sparkly blue eyes, perfect skin, a delicate style and the most adorable personality you could ever find. She was the sweetest person I've ever met, and she would make a perfect Cinderella or Aurora. She actually looked a lot like them with her shoulder free, light blue, mini dress, slightly curly blond hair and a very feminine makeup.

Then we heard a knock on our door. I opened the it and found Allan. One of my best guy friends since High School as well. He was a bit of a dork with his glasses, the brown curly hair, freckles and the most unusual hobbies.

"Hey Allan," I said and smiled. I took a look at his outfit. He looked quite handsome actually. He wore a plain white t-shirt, a black unbuttoned suite jacket and ripped black jeans with matching black converse. He straightened his glasses and smiled.

"Hey Liz, wow, you look gorgeous." he said and blushed. I nudged his shoulder and laughed.

"Oh stop it." I said. I turned over to Melissa.

"You coming?" I asked. Melissa walked over to the door with our jackets and purses.

"Let's get moving." she said. We went outside to the hallway and met Tommy and Doug.

"Damn, you look fine!" Doug said to Melissa and kissed her cheek.

"Watch out, I just put on lipstick." Melissa said and giggled. I smiled at the adorable vision before me. Doug and Melissa had been dating for almost 2 years now. They could seem like Ying and Yang sometimes, but they always figured out how to accept each others differences.

Then all the four of us went down the elevator, on our way to the "Be Our Guest" restaurant.

"Name please." said the waiter.

"Allan Daniels plus four." informed Allan. The waiter checked his list and smiled.

"Right this way, sir." he said and we followed him inside the gigantic ballroom. Big chandeliers, ceiling paintings and basically anything you would find in a 4,5 star restaurant. It was magical, and I couldn't stop gazing at the amazing view. Tommy laid a hand on my shoulder.

"You coming? Our table is this way." he said. I smiled and went with him.

"This is perfect. 3 years of hard work for a whole week in this magical place. It's worth anything." I said and hugged my brother. He chuckled.

"Yeah, every minute of hard work." he said. We arrived at our table. A perfect spot.

"You've really outdone yourself!" said Melissa impressed. Allan laughed.

"That's what happens when you've got rich parents." he said. We all sat down, and another waiter came with our menus. I took a quick look before I knew what to order.

"I'd like the Braised Pork, please." I said to the waiter.

"I'd like the Layered Ratatouille." Melissa said and smiled.

"And uh... I'd like the Grilled Strip Steak, please." said Tommy. Allan and Doug nodded to each other.

"Yeah, we'll have the same. Oh, and a bottle of Roth Pinot Noir, please." said Allan to the waiter. She nodded, took our menus and strolled of to the kitchen with our orders.

"Uh, what did you say?" Tommy asked. Allan laughed.

"Trust me it good. It's red wine." he said and played with his napkin.

"Well, what does it taste like?" Doug asked. He was more of a beer-guy. Allan looked up, thought about it and spilled.

"Raspberry, rose pedals and a dash of sweet vanilla." he then said.

"That sounds way too fancy." I said and laughed.

"No, no. I drink it with my parents all the time, when their friends are over. It's cool." said Allan, trying to cool us down.

"Well, how much is it for a bottle?" asked Melissa. She's a little nervous around money, cause she always has a habit of using too much of them and then ending up with no money at all.

"Uh... about 67 dollars." Allan said and continued playing with the red folded napkin.

"Wow, that's a lot of money, Al!" Tommy said and shoved Allan's shoulder.

"Oh, relax would you? I'll pay." he said and shoved Tommy back. We all laughed. The waiter came back with the bottle. It sure looked expensive and delightful. The waiter poured the wine in the five glasses and we all took a small sip. I wasn't very fond of wine, but it wasn't that bad actually.

"This is actually really good," said Melissa. "Right Doug?" she said and looked at Doug who actually looked really surprised over the taste of the wine. He nodded and drank some more.

"Easy there, tiger." Tommy said and chuckled.

"When is our food coming, if I may ask." I felt awkward asking, but I was starving.

"It's on it's way on on your table within a few minutes." the waiter said and strolled off again.

"This really is a great spot, Al." I said.

"Yeah, here's to Allan. Our very own rich kid!" said Tommy and stood up with the glass in his hand. We all followed his actions and made a toast to Allan who still sat down, awkwardly.

After a few minutes of talking and laughing, our dishes came. They all looked to delicious.

"Thanks," said Tommy and winked to a giggling waiter. I rolled my eyes.

"Bon Appetite," said Melissa. We all dug into our dishes and made a few toasts.

This was one of the greatest nights of my life.
