Chapter 43

Sarah;

I stood in front of the window that overlooked the streets, while staring at the hot coffee in my mug. Its the first morning with My brother officially gone and I feel broken. Its like I'm forcing myself to think that he's not dead, that he's just in school, or he's out with friends, I didn't want to accept it.

God, the thought of him just makes me want to cry.

I swallowed the lump in my throat before feeling a pair of arms wrap around my waist, "Hey," his voice softly greeted as he placed a soft lingering kiss on my cheek, I closed my eyes as I melted unto his touch.

We stood there in silence, watching as the cars zoomed by down below, enjoying each other's company.

"Sarah,"

"Hm?"

"Come with me."

I raised a brow before turning around to face him, "Where?"

He let out a sighed, "Honey, please don't get mad but I remembered that I have a week of shows in LA and we have to go there today... I totally forgot, I mean with everything that's happened and all.."

I nodded and cupped his face, "I'm not mad, but, Jimmy, as much as I want to go with you, I can't."

"Why not?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. "I can't leave Dad and Trevor just yet."

"Oh."

I nodded and pulled him in for a kiss, "A week... That's not going to be long, by the time you know it, you'll be back here, with me."

He lets out a sigh, "I don't want to leave you."

"We can FaceTime every night if you want, I'll call you everyday if you want, its just, I really can't leave right now, babe."

"I understand... Okay, I think that's good."

I nodded and looked at him, "Have you packed?"

He shook his head, "Not yet."

"Then lemme get dressed and then we go." I told him as I gave him a quick peck.

"What time do you need to be in the airport?" I asked him as I sat on his bed, watching him pick his clothes, "Uh, 10 am."

I checked his phone, Its 9:30 am.

"Well, you have all the time in the world," i said, adding just the right amount of sarcasm. He chuckled, "Thanks for the heads-up."

"Just being supportive."

"That's it, I'm all done." He said as he zipped his bag. I nodded, "Are you sure you have everything in there?"

He thought for a moment before nodding, "Yes."

He stared at me for a few seconds before crawling up beside me, "Are you sure you'll be okay here?" He asked as he kissed my jaw, I nodded, " I will."

He nods his head and holds me close. I'm going to miss this for a week.

"Jimmy?"

"Yea?"

"I love you."

He slowly looks up at me before making me look at him, "You couldn't imagine how much I love you."

And with that, he placed a passionate kiss on my lips, making me smile.

I've never fallen in love this hard before but its one of the best feelings ever.

As we were in the car, on the way to the airport, Jimmy had his hand intertwined with mine the entire time. He pulled our joined hands up to his lips before placing a kiss on top of mine, "I'm going to miss you so much."

"Don't get me started," I chuckled.

He smiles, "Facetime tonight?"

I nodded, "Yea."

"Mister Fallon, we're here." Carl said before hopping down to attend to Jimmy's bags.

He got out and I followed, "Call me once you land."

He nods, "I will. If you need anything, you know what to do. I'll see you in a week, love. Love you." He told me before cupping my face and pulling me in for a long passionate kiss, damn this day is full of kisses but screw it, I'm loving it.

"I know, I know. I love you too." He smiles softly at me as I saw familiar faces waiting for him, "Now go, before your boss kicks your ass."

He laughs, "You're right, he will." He turned to Carl, "Carl, make sure she get's home safe." He told him, getting all serious.

"Yes, sir."

"I'll see you tonight."

"Bye, I will, dad."

He rolled his eyes before chuckling, "Bye."

I watched him as he walked to Higgins and the rest of the staff, Higgins waved at me and I waved back.

As they walked in the doors, Jimmy looked back at me, giving me one last wave. It feels like he's going to war.

I chuckled to myself, "Carl, let's go home."

He nods and gets in the car.

I was on the couch, skipping through the channels, looking for something good to watch. I was waiting for Trevor, he told me that he was coming over.

And finally, I heard the knock I've been waiting for. I got up on my feet and walked over to the door, I didn't bother to check the peephole, I just opened it. My heart sunk when I saw who it was, it wasn't Trevor...

It was Colin.

Jimmy;

We finally landed in Los Angeles and man, was it hot.

"Hey, Jim, c'mere!" Higgins called out, "Hold on, lemme call someone."

I walked over to the corner and pulled my phone out, I dialed Sarah's number and put the receiver to my ear, I waited for her to pick up but it just continued ringing.

Then eventually, it went to her voicemail. I dialed again and it just went back to her voicemail.

Maybe she's out and she left her phone.

"Hey hun, we're here. I just thought I'd check on you. I miss you already but I'll see you tonight, don't forget... Love you."

I looked at the screen before shoving the phone back into my pocket, I hope everything's okay.
