~2 years later~

Sarah;

I looked up at his name,

The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

"Daddy!" My twins squealed as they pointed at it, I chuckled and nodded before kissing their heads, "Yea, that's daddy." I walked in the building and made my way upstairs to the studio.

Once I got out on the 6th floor, I set the m down and watched as they ran around, looking for their father.

"Daddy?" Ellie called out, making everyone giggle and coo at them.

"No, dum-dum, daddy not thewe!" Carter scolded, "Play nice, Cartie."

He looked back at me and flashed me the same puppy-dog eyes Jimmy does, "Sowwy, mommy."

"Did you just call your sister a dum-dum?" Jimmy asked as he lifted Carter up, Carter looked away and nodded, "Sowwy."

"Ellie, baby, daddy's here." I said as my daughter continued running around. She looked back at us and ran back, "I smew food!"

Jimmy laughed and picked her up, "Just like mommy."

I rolled my eyes and smiled. He chuckled before leaning down to give me a kiss, "Hi, I missed you guys."

"We missed you too."

"They couldn't wait for you to come home."

"You guys missed Daddy?" He asked as he kissed their heads. They nodded, "Yes."

"I just finished taping, let's go to my office."

Ellie reached for me and I got her from him.

"Love you." Jimmy smiled as he bent down to steal a kiss, "I love you." I replied.

I stared at my little family, gosh, I finally found my haven. I have found my happy ending.

I kissed Ellie before following my husband to his office. He intertwined our hands and looked at me, flashing me a big grin.

Life is good.

No matter what shit happens, in the end everything will be okay.

What they say is true, the beginning is always the hardest so don't give up.

Shit happens but it happens for a reason. This time, I could say that I have crossed the line to victory.
