Sarah;

I stood there, watching as men covered my brother with dirt. I held unto Jimmy's hand, feeling my emotions building up once again.

He's gone, he's officially gone.

I closed my eyes, hoping that this was just a bad dream and that i'll wake up, hoping that i'll hear his voice again, hear his stupid jokes... Hoping that he'll walk in eating a bag of chips...

Nothing.

I opened them once again, this time tears trickling down my face, "I'm going to miss you so much, flapjacks."
-

"Sarah, I want you to meet your little brother, Jackson." Dad introduced as he carefully handed me my baby brother.

I held him in my arms, looking down at the newest addition to the family.

"Hey, flapjacks, I'm going to call you flapjacks, I'm your big sister."

He let out a laugh and tried reaching for me, I looked up at Dad.

"Daddy, what if he doesn't like me?"

"He'll love you."

--

"Alright, Jackass, enjoy college." I chuckled as I parked in front of the University. He sat in the passenger's seat, taking deep breaths, "Do I have to go?"

"Yes, now go! You'll be late!"

"Aights! Aight! Jeez, man." He said as he opened the door, letting out a small chuckle.

"Call me if you nee-"

"Yes, mom!" He laughed as he walked away, I watched my little brother as he met up with his friends. I smiled at them before putting the gear into drive.

"Wait! Sarah! Big sis!" He exclaimed as he ran back to me, "What?"

"I love you... thanks for the ride."

"Love you too, little bro, but can you please get to class? Dad will kick my ass if you're late."

He nodded and ran back to his friends.

-

I closed my eyes as memories played in my head. I cried unto Jimmy's chest, "Its just so unfair."

He pulled me into an embrace and planted a lingering kiss on my head. I stayed like that for a few more moments before pulling my shit together.

I pulled away and wiped the tears away, "Let's go."

Jimmy stopped and looked at me. He cupped my face and stared deep into my eyes, like they were searching for something while his thumbs caressed my cheek. I was about to say something but was stopped by his lips on mine.

A few seconds later, he pulled away, leaning his forehead against mine, "Thank you." I told him, "I needed that."

He nodded slowly but didn't say anything. he let out a sigh, "Let's go."

He intertwined our hands before pulling me to the car. We decided that we'll go to Jackson's apartment before going to the reception at Dad's.

I watched Jimmy as he led the way, i'm thankful that I met this man.

-

Jimmy squeezed my hand as we stood in the middle of Jacks' apartment. Trevor walked in and looked around the place. He walked up to the living room and picked up a picture, it was the three of us.
