JADE'S POV

Hayley is such a nice girl! I mean, shit goes round about people and I tend not to really pay attention but she really did have a reputation. Just the typical 'bad girl' stuff, nothing more. There's a lot more to her obviously. We were just talking about Hayley needing a tutor for Maths. Luke was an option, he's a genius.

"So do you reckon you could maybe put in a good word for me? I know you're probably not on great terms but I'm desperate. We have our major exams soon and I'm not prepared at all. I'll be happy to have Luke as my tutor, even if I think that him and his friends are complete dicks." Hayley was starting to freak out. I really wanted to help her, I'd have to talk to Luke in our next class together.

"Calm down, I'll talk to him. Not that it's my business but why do you think that the boys are all dicks?" I can't help but give a half-hearted glare under my lashes. I'm protective over them, no matter how much we fight, I still care about them. Hayley didn't notice my glare but she could sense the annoyance in my voice, she continued.

"It's complicated." She eventually stumbled upon those chosen words and let them out with a heavy sigh.

"You can tell me in your own time then I guess." I gave up on the questioning and looked up to find two familiar faces with their hands on their hips. They didn't look angry, just confused. Great, they're looking for answers. I don't think I really want to dish any out if I'm being completely honest.

"Where's Luke and what did you do to him? You didn't kill him, did you?" Zoe and Bree sit down next to Hayley and I. I can't help but give out a light chuckle at Bree's statement.

"Yeah, because I'm the kind of person that would do that." I joke, the pair of them look down and shrug at the same time. Ridiculous! I would never do such a thing...

"I had a hissy fit at his house yesterday and I haven't bothered talking to him yet." I take a bite into my apple, pulling an unattractive face from how sour it was. Nevertheless, I took another bite.

"Jesus Christ, can you just tell us already?! What. Did. He. Do. That. Made. You. Have. A. Hissy. Fit?" Zoe pushed, why did they even want to know so badly?

"He practically told me to leave his house when he was the one who invited me over in the first place. He's been kind of closed off from me lately but whenever I try to think about what's caused him to act like this, I come to a dead end. I'm going to try and talk to him in our next class anyway, Hayley needs a tutor." I say bluntly, my introduction to Hayley being blunt and rude. Today hasn't been a good day so why try and make it better? Jade, Bree and Hayley exchanged polite  greetings and a quick chat before refocusing their attention on the problem. Me.

"Well what are you going to do about the concert this weekend? You invited Jackson, Jess and Luke, remember? That mix is not going to go down well." Bree decided to bring up the obvious problem and she didn't have a solution for me.

"Any suggestions? I don't really see a massive problem though. I'll just have to get on Luke's side before this weekend. No biggy. Jackson and Jess know Luke and the three of them mix really well as far as I know." I had never actually seen them talk to each other properly but hey, everyone will get along fine. Hopefully.

"That's not what I saw yesterday." Bree chimes in while raising her eyebrows. Oh god no. Please don't make matters worse.

"Tell me everything." I groan, my head in my hands.

LUKE'S POV

She looked furious. Jade can be moody sometimes but, my god, I was scared for my life. We haven't spoken since yesterday afternoon. I know that's not a very long time but it seems like an eternity for us. At least she's willing to actually converse with me now, even if she does look like she's about to kill a bitch.
