Four - Confession

{ Ls POV }

W-what? What did he just say? "L-light kun I-" I was at a loss for words. I can't believe he felt that way. No way. This must be some elaborate joke being pulled.

"I don't appreciate you making fun of me." I said dead panned and he stared back at me in disbelief. "You think I'm joking?" Light asked with a furious look in his eyes.

"You know I didn't think you were like them Light. I thought maybe you accepted sexualities-" I was silenced with a punch. Jesus. "Ow that kinda hurt." I said rubbing the assaulted area.

"You think I'm like them? No I do accept different sexualities considering I'm of one." Lights voice was calm but sinister.

So he meant what he said. "So you actually have f-feelings for m-me?" I stuttered and I felt heat rising to my cheeks. "Uh I, well. Umm- yes."

My heart fluttered in my chest. My stomach felt like butterflies were furiously flying inside of it. My eyes were wide and my mouth twitched up slightly into a smile. "Oh."

Light began to walk to the frozen mud pitch we were doing PE on. I shuddered, I hate PE. It's not like I don't have athletic ability it's just the boys in my class love to be assholes and say I'm looking at their ass.

I wouldn't touch their ass with a 200 meter poll.

"OKAY! YOU'RE ALL GONNA RUN THE PITCH TWICE!" Screamed the instructor and we started running.

{ Lights POV }

I ran alongside L and sneaked looks at him. He ran weirdly with his body bent even further forward and his head sticking out so he can see.

I wanted to go home at this point, I felt embarrassed and really wanted to think. It was only first lesson.

When I was looking at L he looked up at me with big childish eyes. Our eyes locked and the tension grew massively. I was waiting for him to look away. But we continued running and staring at each other.

I looked away from him and could still feel his gaze burning into me.

{ After school }

I hurried out of the school gates and power walked home. I stormed into my room and collapsed onto my bed.

"Why does he have to like me?"

"Why must I like him back?"

"GOD DAMN IT WHY WAS I BORN THIS WAY!"

Millions of thoughts whizzed through my mind until I heard a timid knock at the door. "What is it?" I groaned and stood up. "It's L..." I heard from the other side of the door.
