(Male!Reader P.O.V)
"I highly doubt that that is true!" I slammed my hands on the conference table and yelled at my subordinate
"First-class investigator (Y/N), please have a seat" my boss said
"How can you be calm, sir? He's saying that my boyfriend of six years is a ghoul!"
"If he isn't than you wouldn't mind giving us his information, like height, weight..... a picture, some DNA."
"You are a bastard Tak...." I stared down my subordinate, second-class investigate Tamaki Tak, he is a free spirit who always comes to these types of big conclusions "We aren't discussing this further, I have to get home to my HUMAN boyfriend. I promised I'd be home about now" I looked at my watch and realized that it was about 8 at night, about the time the two of us would eat some steak that he cooked himself.
"The meeting will be continued tomorrow, see you all at 5 a.m. sharp" We all dispersed, I drove to my house, not wanting Tak to follow me to his house. I walked in and grabbed out my cell, I was dialing his cell and then as there was ringing in my ear I heard a ring tone sound off inside my house.
"Hello?" I walked in a little more and realized that the shower was going "Are you here, babe?" I called
"Oh, your home" I heard his voice "I didn't expect you for a bit, you said you had a meeting"
"Ya, but I used the whole 'I-promise-to-be-back-by-now' excuse to get the hell out of there" I waited outside of the bathroom as I talked to him
"Sounds like you" He shut off the water and I heard his bare feet hit the floor "so how was work?"
"Well, Second-class Investigator Tak said the most bizarre thing ever, today" I laughed a little as I thought about it "He said that he thought you were a ghoul--" I turned to meet his beautiful eyes, but instead I was met with the black and red Kakugan of a ghoul.......on his face. My eyes went wide and my heart dropped along with myself to the floor. "Y-You're...." I began to shake, my body beginning to have spasms of pure shock and sadness that I couldn't control.
"I should've told you" He said trying to do what he does best and make me blame him, he placed his hand on my shoulder as if to comfort me.
"I'm part of the CCG..... first-class investigator (Full name)" I looked up to him and cupped his face "I'm supposed to kill ghouls...ghouls are supposed to be ruthless monsters who kill humans for no good reason" I felt a tear escape my eye and drop down my cheek "N-Not..."
"We only kill because that's the only way we can live...." He looked me in the eyes
"I know...." I said kissing the tip of his nose, "I know all about ghouls" I stood up and walked to the kitchen, leaving him at the bathroom.
I picked up a knife, a normal kitchen knife.
"Babe, no!" He rushed to me afraid of what I'd do to myself
"It's not for me...." I motioned to stab him, he just stood there as the blade didn't penetrate his skin, he watched me wail out as I did nothing but try to stab my boyfriend. I dropped the warped knife to the ground
"You're quinque is over there if you want to kill me"
"I.... I can't kill the man I love....even if he is a ghoul...." I looked at him "Uta I love you, I can't kill you...."
"Even though I'm a ghoul and your an investigator of the CCG?"
"Yes.... I love you too much" I hugged him tight
~Time Skip~
We started our meeting, I was extremely tired because Uta and I had talked a lot last night and I barely got any sleep because of the shock that Uta has been a ghoul this whole time.
