(Uta P.O.V)
"I'm home!" He called as he entered the house, like most days. I walked out to greet my little hunter, his scarlet hoodie and blood stained jeans were enough to tell me that he had enough fun for another month.
"One of these days you're actually going to die..." I said shaking my head as I embraced him
"Yep!" he smiled pulling away and fumble around in his messenger bag "But today I didn't , instead I brought you 60 more eyeballs~" He pulled out a jar of human eyeballs floating in a thick crimson liquid "They've been marinating in blood for hours" He handed them to me, and took off his jacket as he placed it on the coat rack in the front of the house
"What did you do with the bodies?"
"Oh, I had the 'Cleaners' deal with them. Those three are almost as bad as Rize."
"Your group is much larger than last month" I commented as I thought about eating one of the eyes
"Ya, the 'Cleaners' joined 2 months ago and this month we have 4 others join, I think we are close to 40 members now." he said passing me and going towards my sketch book that was open and had a simple rough sketch of the next mask I was making "We'd have more if the Dove's would chill out--"
"(Your Ghoul Name)!" A loud shout was heard from outside "We know you are in there!"
"It's the Dove's!" I gasped
"Damn, I thought I shook them off."
"(Your Ghoul name), leader of the G.D., come out with your hands above your head"
(Y/n) looked out the window, as carefully as possible, "It's him, it's Inspector Kagami and his little Seirin Assassination Squad" He began to freak out "I should've lost them by the park!"
"(Your Ghoul Name), if you don't come out we are breaking in!"
"Uta...." He said looking at me really pitifully as he picked up his mask with his shaking hands.
"You can't!" I said
"I have to... I promised you I'd keep you safe"
(Male! Reader's P.O.V)
I kissed Uta very passionately as I departed and kicked the front door down.
"What the hell?!" I yelled at Inspector Kagami, the thorn in my side
"Oh, you can speak?" Kagami smirked
"Damn right I can! I'll give you and your S.A.S to the count of 5 to put their weapons down and for you to leave!" I balled up my fists to try to force them to stop shaking.
Calm down... you're heart is racing to fast... just breath... if you do this Uta will be safe...
"That's not happening" Kagami activated his Quinique, the one he took from my brother 7 years ago
"If I turn myself in, will you leave my family alone?" I heard Uta whimper inside as I asked that
"Don't try acting human, monster--"
"Promise!" I yelled
"You really don't have to do this" Uta whispered to me
"I do"
