[A/n: Paragraphs or words found in italics is memories of the past and Bold will be Uta's thoughts. The Song above I listened to the whole time writing this, the song is a one single 5ish minute clip rerun for about and hour.]
(Uta P.O.V )
"If I caught him once, I had caught him a million times..." I tried to avoid the question
"It's good to get it out, please proceed"
"Fine... it's been 7 years since (Y/n) killed himself, I wish that I was with him right now. So do me a favor and plunge a knife into my heart, the heart that broke 7 fucking years ago"
"(Y/n) don't run too fast!" I called after my boyfriend of 9 years, our tenth anniversary one month away, who was running around the lawn like an idiot. "You're going to hurt yourself"
"No I won't, don't worry!" He called back at the exact moment he tripped and landed straight on his face. He sat up and looked at me. A smile from ear to ear and a laugh escaped his lips.
"It sounds like he was a klutz?" My therapist asked
"It wasn't really that, he just wasn't aware of his surroundings. He always thought about the people rather than the things..."
"Mr. Uta, I'm just going to get straight down to my question. It's taken you seven years to come to me for help, what took you so long to seek treatment over your lovers death?"
"Well I'm officially ready to die now, and my brother told me I had to come today... He's kind of like that..."
"Tell me more about your brother"
"His name is Kaneki Ken, He's been through hell and back. He works for the CCG and could kill you and I, if he wanted to"
"Well, he seems like a cultured kid" He avoided the answer "Did your brother know your lover?"
"How about you refer to (Y/n) by his actually fucking name"
"(Y/n) what are you doing?!" I ran as fast as I could to stop him from plunging a knife into his abdomen
"Why won't you let me die! You shouldn't be home right now! I could've died alone without thinking about leaving you behind!" He was a teary mess, a small stream of snot dripping and mixing in with his heavy flow of tears.
He held onto me
"You've never been like this, what's going on?"
This was the first time I witnessed him trying to kill himself.... it was not pleasant for either of us...
"Most people that are depressed, never tell someone. People don't know that they are depressed, or clinically ill"
"Thank's Doc. I could've figured that out by myself"
"Uta, I'm implying that you, yourself, may be depressed"
"That would be an understatement"
"Uta, do you think that E.M.D.R (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) could be helpful?"
"I may blame myself for (Y/n) killing himself, but I do not want to willingly relive that day... you can't force me"
"Uta, hurry up! The Fireworks are going to start!"
He's all normal.... just a week ago he tried to end his life, but now he's back to himself...
"I'm right behind you"
