I plugged my ear buds into my IPod and played my most favorite song, Reluctant Heros by (Your Stage name). His voice melts my soul and makes me go to my happy place. I needed to hear (Y/S/N)'s voice, especially on today of all days.
I looked to my wall to the poster of (Y/S/N), his beautiful figure dancing, his face showing pure joy... it was the first time I met him, well not personally. I was mesmerized by the sound of his voice, it dragged me right over to his merchandise, I saw a cardboard cut out of him, he was a squint shorter than me but I was more entranced by his (eye color) eyes that spoke 1001 words.
"Uta, are you going to come with us?" My roommate, the bane of my existence, walked into me just staring at (Y/S/N)'s band poster as I had his song blasting in my ears. I removed my head phones and turned around to face him
"Where are you going?" I asked in a daze, not really listening
"We are heading down to go see (Y/S/N) in concert. He's in town and--"
"Take. Me. With. You" I said glaring back at him
~2 hours later~
The crowd is ginormous, I never could've imagined that this many people would be infatuated with (Y/S/N). We had some of the best seats, we were in the mosh pit, I could probably touch him from this distance.
We all started getting pumped, I just can't wait to see him in real life, like right here before my eyes.
"(Y/S/N)" The lead guitarist said "It's time for the show"
The band started with their normal welcoming routine.
"We should get out there, or they'll all leave" the drummer also said
"I don't know if their ready..." the Pianist said doubtfully
Suddenly the lights on the stage light up and all four of them appeared on stage in their famous stances.
"Let's find out," (Y/S/N)'s angelic voice said in a whisper in the microphone "Hello my lovers~" he seductively said "shall I sing a song for all of you?"
"YES!" Everyone called
"Ready, boys~?" He snapped his fingers to a very familiar beat and then opened his mouth and began singing. His words melted my heart, the best part about the song he began singing was that it was Reluctant Heros and I had just been listening to it about 2 hours ago. He smiled as he sang the beauty of a song. He sang the whole song.
This was different for listening to the MP3 version... In a good way! I could see the emotion he displayed on his face after every word rolled off his lips.
I can honestly say I've never been this excited about anything in my life.
The whole concert was a roller-coaster of emotions. His voice surged pure adrenaline through my veins.
"This is the last song" he said getting a loud sigh from the audience "I would love to continue for you all, also Roy (my manager) wanted me to tell the VIP's to follow the yellow rope to the security stand. They'll ask for your VIP badge and then you can have some one on one time with the whole band or with a select member of the band" he smiled "and a One, Two, Three" he counted and hit his thigh as the band began playing a oldies song from their first album.
It was titled Unravel.
The song started and ended in a low and sad key, I could see tears forming in (Y/S/N)'s eyes as he waved and exited the stage.
