Chapter 8: Shape Shifter

Mom ..
Mom...
Mom is that really you....

Am I hallucinating or is my mom really here. My eyes widened as I suddenly realized that the wolf that I just saw a few seconds ago had turned into my mother.

I tried to get up, but my feet stung badly.
"My daughter how are you?" my mom asked sweetly.
Tears started running down my face I know this isn't real, but I can't help but cry. She started moving closer to me, as I tried to back away from her.
I don't know what type of mythical creature this is, but this is scaring me..... a lot!
"Oh don't be scared my child it's only me your dear mother," after she said that she did a full teeth smile.

And that's when I saw how sharp her teeth was, a shiver went down my spine.

" You are not my mother" I said my voice a little above a whisper.
A loud laugh erupted from the creature, which sounded like nails being scraped on glass.

"And here I am thinking that you were stupid" and with that he shifted into a creature.
I almost pissed myself he was now a skeleton with blood all over him, his eyes were no where to be found, his teeth grew longer and were now black.

He looked like those scary things out of the movies but much worse.

I started screaming and tried to get up. My screams started getting louder as it tried to come closer. "You'll be seeing me again" it said before disappearing. And right then and there I blacked out.

I woke up, but it felt like my eyes couldn't open, I started freaking out.

Three....

I opened my eyes and behold Jesus in front of me.

Just joking I'm not dead.

What I really saw was a crying Allia holding on my hand which I weakly pulled away from her.
I still am mad at her.
She looked up with a smile on her face which suddenly turned into a frown when she noticed I didn't  want her holding my hand.

A minute passed before Mara came barging into the hospital room door like she owned the place. Well maybe she did but I don't care.
"I'm so glad that you're okay, stupid vajhis" she said. "What is a vajhi?" I asked while allia started to listen to.
"Its the creature that attacked you," she said, when she finished talking another girl came in.

I think her name is Zania, Danny's sister. "Hey I just wanted to check if my future sister in law was okay" she said while walking closer to the bed.
I gave her a warming smile "I'm doing great thanks for checking on me" I said while she returned the smile.

"Well you need to get your rest" Mara said while looking at Zania and Allia as a signal to leave.

I started getting into a comfortable sleeping position and was about to close my eyes when three guys just decided to come in.

"How are you?" danny asked. "Okay, my feet still kinda stings but I'm okay" I said to him.
Dylan looked at me with sad eyes, aww so sweet.

"Did you know that it was a creature called a vajhi that attacked me, and it looked so scary" I said pulling up the blankets for my protection.

What is a blanket gonna do Anna?
I asked myself. Well more than I can do.
"We know but we can't find it anywhere near the border, so you should be safe," Dylan answered.
Jax didn't talk at all since he walked in here, he must of known that his voice is not wanted to be heard by me.

They said their goodbyes well actually dylan and danny said their goodbyes. After we had finish talking, Danny told me to get some rest just to make sure I'm okay.
After they left I laid back in my comfortable position and went back to sleep.
