Chapter 28: I Will Fight

Anna's p.o.v.

I looked towards the hideous creature, goosebumps covering my skin as its lips turned into a smile.
My smile faltered as I turned away from the mirror. It was hard to not remember the negative words that my 'father' loved to use.
The word 'Hideous' being on the top of that list ,along with 'ugly', 'stupid' ,and a bit-.

My thoughts were cut off as Danny came into view holding a peice of paper. My eyebrows scrunched together as he layed it in front of me on the table.

One day left
I hope your ready
The war has begun

My eyes clenched shut as tears threatened to leak through. Danny came towards me embracing in a hug. My breathing beginning to lose its natural pace ,becoming short and quick.

"You need to relax sweetheart," cupping my chin Danny lifted my head to face him. I was totally unprepared for the kiss he gave me ,but I soon found myself relaxing.

"What are we going to do now",I said after pulling away breathing heavily.
"Prepare",he spoke after staring at me. I noticed his eyes switching from dark brown to black as he spoke. "Our warriors are more than prepared to fight ,but we'll practice more".

I nod my head, "Me too . . . I want to fight back". For the first time in my life I wanted to fight him back and I intended on winning.

For my mother and myself.

Daniel's p.o.v.

"You found out the hard way", King Vasko muttered as he walked behind the big desk and sat down ,"I tried to keep in my laugh seeing him slam you against that tree".

"All I ask is for you to not touch his mate".

"But we made a deal . . . your life for his MATE. And I am one to stick to any deal that was made".

"You can kill me and leave her", I whispered out. King Vasko seemed to have heard me rising from the chair and walking around until we were face to face.

"You're willing to give up your life for someone else's mate and that someone being your brother", he sighed ,"I believe that if you were to kill her it would put her out of her misery to being mated to that son of a bitc-".

"He's changed" ,I spoke cutting him off, "He's not that person that he once was since he had found her".

Vasko seemed to be in deep thought after I said that.
"Alright . . . you can leave ,but if I find out that you have done something else to any of my people", he spoke giving me a bone chilling smile, "I'd take you up on your deal ,and kill you".

"Are you serious"?, I questioned bewildered.

"You have two minutes to leave my face before I change my mind",as those words left his mouth I had never run so fast.

A smile graced my lips knowing that we wouldn't have to focus on the vahjis anymore. I sighed as I continued to feel the aching in my heart for my exmate since she rejected me to be with someone else.
I picked up my pace running in the direction of the pack.

Allias p.o.v.

We all sat down eating lunch and making the plans for the war to come.
"We need all of our weaponry. Every warrior needs to be present and ready to fight", Danny spoke to us as I agreed by nodding my head seeing that my mouth was filled with a piece of sandwich.

I stopped focusing on the words coming out of Danny's mouth when I saw Faze enter the kitchen through the corner of my eye.
I seriously wanted to slap the hell out of him ,but it wouldn't be pleasant if Zania could feel his pain.

When Danny finished speaking about the war everyone continued to eat ,but were interrupted by Faze.

"Zania's missing", the words he uttered caused everyone to tense up.

"What do you mean she's missing"? Asked Danny, if looks could kill Faze would have died at that moment.

"She went to the mall yesterday and did not come back", he answered him.

"Actually she did come back . . . I talked to her she was crying saying that she needed to talk to you and that you did something to her" I spoke up after he said that.
Everyone turned to look at Faze his fists clenching and unclenching as he glared at me which didn't go unnoticed by Jax who started to growl at him.

"But I never talked to her and I never saw her",I looked around to observe everyone's faces they all believed him. Dating Faze was and still is something I regret ,but with that I learned how to tell if he was lying.
Like every time he told me he was 'sorry' ,it was very noticeable.
And right at this moment he was definitely lying ,but why?

Danny stood from his chair and slammed Faze into the nearest wall before anyone had time to comprehend what just happened.
Faze was nothing against Danny ,and so I was not surprised when Jax and Dylan got up and started prying him off of him.

"You are going to find my sister if its the last thing you do", he spoke slowly to Faze who still tried to put up his facade ,but I could see the fear in his eyes.

"Put on a search get a group of warriors to look for her and you to",Danny spoke out as Jax and Dylan followed his orders with Faze trailing behind.

The only people left at the table were myself, Anna ,and Mara.
All deep in thought with a frown etched on our faces.

The only thing I was thinking about was why did Faze lie?
