Chapter 9:" Remember Me"

Five hours ago I was fine, living life, but when you return to the present I can't utter a word.

Can't speak.

Can't scream.

Can't move.

Can't even blink. Well not until just now, but you understand.

Fear has paralyzed my whole body.

I woke up this morning in my bedroom not in a hospital bed anymore so they must have moved me when I was asleep.

I got up and went to the spacious bathroom. They only got to give us a few clothes because we tried to escape and all that but Mara said that we were going shopping today.
So I showered and put on the only set of clothes that was left which was a sundress which had the sides cut out in a diamond shape showing my stomach on the side. I put on my flip flops and walked out the room towards the kitchen.

"Good morning to you too."
I looked around and noticed that Dylan was sitting down having his own breakfast. "Good morning" I said while trying to reach for the cocoa puffs which was all the way on top of the fridge.

"Are you ready?" Mara asked walking into the kitchen. "Yep, and good morning to you too" I said.
"Haha very funny, if you're going to copy my line at least wait till I'm out the room, damn" and with that Dylan left not before giving Mara a kiss. They are relationship goals.

We were walking towards the front door where we met up with Allia. I decided to forgive her because well I can't keep her from all that mating thing and from her mate, but it did hurt to know that she hid the things that Faze did to her from me.

"Anna I'm so sorry I should have told yo..". "It's okay I forgive you let's forget about it, once you are okay with your decision. Now let's go shopping" and with that we were out the door but not without me tripping of course.

"I'm tiredddd" I said to the two girls who weren't even giving me a glance. For the past four hours we were shopping continuously. And my feet were throbbing because I am wearing these stupid heels that they said matched with the outfit I'm wearing now, making me put them on.

So they are strutting down the isles like models while I can't even stand up for a good five seconds.
I was fed up with not being fed so I sneaked out forever 21 like a ninja.
Letting out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding, I replaced the heels with my flip flops and I started my search for food.

The mall was crowded like very crowded but besides all of the busy people I had this feeling that someone was watching me. Like full on staring at me for about the past fifteen minutes.
As I took a glance around my surrounding I couldn't see a lot because some PEOPLE seem to not watch where they're going.

I continued to walk and only took about two steps before I was being pulled into this deserted shop. I turned around to look at who was pulling me. And at that moment I wished that I just ignored my grumbling stomach and stayed with Allia and Mara, guess its to late.

Was all I was asking myself to stare into those eyes brought back terrible memories I wished to forget.
"You thought you could get rid of me that easily, didn't you my daughter" his question rang through my ears.

" I am not your daughter, not before, not ever" I do not know where that courage came from, but I liked it.
I snatched my hand away from his and was about to turn around when he began speaking.

"You know life is pretty funny daughter" he spat the word out like poison. "Just because you got yourself a little alpha mate doesn't mean that he can stop me from destroying you and that little ugly thing you call a friend, you can run but you can't hide" he started to walk away.
But I still heard his last few words "I'll be visiting the pack soon I'm a friend of the former alpha, ha friend, see you soon daughter".

To say I was shocked was an understatement. I was furious, shocked, paralyzed, and afraid.

Furious because he called allia something she's not.
Shocked because he found me and he hasn't even been out for a month yet.
Paralyzed because every memory of abuse came back to me and I was afraid of what he would do now.
Afraid because he knew about werewolves, he new Danny's father, and he knew Danny was my mate.
"...stagia, anastagia" I heard Mara say. I was dazed out again.
"Do you know how long we've been calling yo..... What's wrong?" Mara asked. "You look like you've seen a ghost" allia said stepping closer to me to grab my hand and shake me.

I still didn't say a word I just couldn't speak. She began to drag me to the car, while Mara took out her phone and started to call someone.
When we reached safely inside the car I still was speechless.
"I don't know what happened but just know that everything is going to be okay" she said and gave me a reassuring hug.

Mara reached the car and began to drive faster then how she did the first time. We reached the pack house in about twenty minutes. Before she even left the car my door was pulled open and I was lifted into a hug by Danny.

He was sniffing my neck and I begin to giggle because It was tickling me. I was so caught up with him and his affection that I didn't even know everyone was waiting on us.
"Cough, cough" every one turned to Dylan. "Seriously?" Danny asked.

"Um, so can you tell us what happened back there, you looked really scared?" Mara questioned looking worried. Behind me I could here Danny growling, I still think he has a throat problem even if he's a werewolf.

I pointed to the door so they'd know to follow me inside.

And that's when I began to relate my life story, wish me luck.
