Danny's p.o.v.
As I walked away from the crowd I caught a whiff of my beautiful mates scent, I looked around but couldn't find her because of the croud of people that was gathered watching the fight.
"Danny, how could you do that?" was the first thing I heard as I stepped into the kitchen where my angry sister awaited arms crossed.
"Do you know the reason why I did what I did?" I asked her whilst going to the fridge for a bottle of water.
"I know it wasn't a good enough reason for you to almost kill our brother"she sassed back at me.
"What he has done can put my mate's life in danger."
"But he's your brother, kick him in his balls or punch him in the face but don't throw him at a tree and almost kill him"
"There's a reason you said almost"
I muttered gulping down the cold tasteless liquid.
If I wanted to kill my brother I would've done so long time. I only did that to roughen him up, he makes silly mistakes all the time and I'm the one that has to fix them.
Just as I finished the bottle of water, Mara walked inside carrying Catalina in her arms,
"Jax and Dylan were looking for you Alpha" she told me carrying on with her task at hand. I rolled my eyes at the title she gave me knowing that she can call me by my first name.
I mind linked them saying that I will be in my office and started to wonder where my beautiful mate is located. I opened the steel door and sat down behind my mahogany desk with Jax and Dylan ten seconds after me.
"What happened out there" Dylan questioned me.
"My brother happened"
" you know you could have killed him right?" I growled lowly in frustration.
"I freaking know that"
"So what did he say that made you go wolf?" I glared at Jax and answered truthfully seeing that they weren't going to leave until I told them.
" He decided to gamble with the vahjis and put my mate as the damn prize money seeing that he was broke"
"So now-"
" You have to protect your mate even more , you did good"
"What" I was puzzled at what Dylan said to me.
"I mean if it was me I would've slit his throat but you actually let him live, I'm suprised"
I smirked " I knew if I did kill him my throat would've been slit by my mother" I said remembering the day my mom told me to protect my siblings when she's not here, she would definitely do something like that.
"So do you want me to assign guards in front of her door and more around the pack house"? Jax asked ready to mind link the guards when I Remembered that I hadn't seen my mate since this morning when she woke up.
I mindlinked Mara and Zania asking them where she went, when I didn't get any response my wolf started to get anxious.
"Have you seen annastagia at anytime during the fight?" I asked the two standing up as they followed my actions.
"I kind of remembered her talking to allia but that is it" Jax told.
I walked out of the room jogging down the many stairs as I tried to sniff out my mates scent which I couldn't find which means she wasn't here or hasn't been here in the last hour.
I muttered a line of curse words as I told Jax and Dylan to look for her as I searched for Mara or Allia outside.
I rushed over to allia who was bending down picking up some daisy which almost caused her to lose her balance.
"Have you seen Anna?"
"She went into the woods like thirty minutes ago, why?"
I started to freak out still cursing at myself for being stupid and not looking for her, when I had the chance.
I mind linked jax and Dylan again and also some warriors and told them to meet me at the woods
Whilst asking them If they knew where she is.
It took about ten minutes for them to get here as I got closer to the woods I noticed that my mates scent was in the same direction as my brothers.
Shit.
I let out a very loud angry growl after I was mind linked that one of my warriors had found her with him; Which caused everyone I had called to take a step back.
My wolf was surfacing as I ran, with them following behind, by now I knew that my eyes were probably very close to turning black.
Someone definitely has to stop me from killing him now.
