Chapter 32: Marking

Anna's .p.o.v
Three weeks later

I was being led into the woods again ,but this time it was Danny leading me.

For the past three weeks the pack has been recovering and everything is back to normal. Dylan has yet to let Mara out of his sight and Zania is staying with her mate at his pack for sometime.

I lifted up half of the blindfold only earning a growl from Danny who removed my hand.
"Are we there yet"?

"Wait ten more seconds".

I began counting the seconds in my head ; when I finally reached to one he stopped.

Good timing.

The blindfold was removed off of my eyes. I blinked rapidly adjusting to the sunlight and smiled as I looked at the picnic he had set up.

I looked at the basket turning towards him, "Don't tell me it's pizza again" I laughed.

"Actually this time I cooked", he said it as though he was not sure.

I walked towards the picnic and sat down patting the spot next to me. He sat down and opened it up taking out the food.
"Spaghetti and meatballs ,tell me how it tastes".

I opened mines up and took a fork full eating it. My eyes widened at how good it tasted.
"It tastes delicious just like the one I use to eat when I was younger, Campbells"

He laughed at me as I glared at him. "I thought you said you cooked"? I said as I laughed along with him.

"I technically did cook it. I opened up the can and poured it in the pot. I did add more seasoning and I also brought some garlic bread."

After we finished eating the spaghetti and the bread ,we later back talking to one another. That was until Danny decided to lay on top of me and kiss me. He stopped kissing me and started kissing down my neck. I gasped as I felt his canines nip at my neck.

"Can I mark you"? ,Danny asks.
I stay quiet for a while thinking it through. He was about to get off of me ,but I stopped him.
"Yes" ,this caused him to pause looking at me shocked.

"I don't think you're sure" ,I roll my eyes as he says this.

"I think that I am sure and that I also love yo-", before I finished my sentence he was kissing me. I pulled away to breathe as he grinned at me.
"I love you too",I smiled back at him. His eyes darkened again as he began kissing my neck. I felt the tip of his canines against my skin until they sunk in. A scream left my lips as a wave of pain hit me until it turned into pleasure.

When he contracted his canines from my neck a groan left my lips.
He kissed me again as I melted into a puddle. I felt weak and I think he understands because he lifts me off of the ground. We were walking back to the pack house ,well he was walking.

I smiled up at him as he looked down at me and winked. My eyes started to close as I started to fall asleep.

I knew that I loved him ,but I was afraid that if I did he would not have loved me back. I was wrong  and I was happy that I was.

Allias p.o.v.

"We're going to be back in a weeks time" ,the cookie dropped from my mouth as my mother said this.

"We cut the trip short because we missed you guys".

"Mom you didn't have to do that we are fine", I said to her as Jax took the cookie and ate it. My nose scrunched up at his actions.

"What it was barely in your mouth" ,he whispered.

"Well thats not the only reason . . ."

I focused my attention back to my mother on the phone ,"What else is happening"

"Well,  you know our neighbor Ms. Winchlan"? ,I nod my head but remembered that she was on the phone and said yes.

"I have asked her to check up on you two seeing that you were all by yourself" ,I gulped as my eyes widened, "She has checked on the both of you everyday after we left".

"And you know what funny"? ,I knew that it wasn't really a question and that Anna and I were in a lot of trouble ,but I still answered with a 'what'.

"You and Annastagia have not been home since the day we left. WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TWO?"

"Mom I can explain-"

"Oh trust me you shall explain Allia. Where is Annastagia?"

"She's sleeping" ,I answer quickly not knowing where she really was. I finished talking to her and hanged up the phone.

"Your mom is scary",I laugh at him imagining what it would be like when she finally meets my werewolf mate.
I lay back on the bed placing my head on his chest and falling asleep.
