Scott

It has been over a week and so far no one has heard from Mitch. I am getting really concerned but hopefully I'll see him at rehearsals today.
I got in my car and drove. I turned on the A/C because it was super hot today.
I reached the studio in about 15 minutes. I walked in and frowned, it was to hot. I walked up to Avi and Kevin, who were already there.
"Kirstie's on her way, I don't know about Mitch though." Kevin said. I sighed and plopped myself into a chair.
"I'm worried about Mitch..." I said.
"I am too, to be honest... He texted Esther asking if he could stay with us. I wonder if he and Travis are fighting." Avi said.
Wait, why did he want to stay with Avi and Esther when he could come home..?
"Do you guys think he hates me?"
"Why would you say that?" Kevin asked sitting in a chair beside me.
"He could come home and instead he asked to stay with Esther and Avi..." I said, looking at him.
"He probably thinks you are angry with him." Kevin said. "After all, you did make home leave his home..."
"I am so worried about him..." I said.
"We are too..." Avi said.
I sighed and the door swung open. Mitch walked in. I studied him.
He was pale and was wearing a oversized jumper and jeans his hair was damp and his breathing was quick.
I walked over and hugged him.
"Hey mitchie." I said. He cringed and pulled away from me.
"Please don't call me that..." He whispered.
I looked down at him with surprise. I have called him that all my life, what changed.
He walked past me and sat down on the edge of his seat.
I looked at Avi and Kevin and glanced at Mitch. They got the memo and we all went and sat beside him.
He looked up and looked at each of us.
"What's going on Mitch?" Kevin asked.
"It's nothing." He mumbled looking at his hands, that were folded in his lap.
"Come on Mitch... You know you can tell us anything?" I said. He was about to saw something when the door swung open and Kirstie walked in, carrying loads of food.
"Hey guys! I brought food!" She called happily. Mitch jumped up and helped her with the food.
"Come one everyone." She called. We all stood and grabbed a plate. There were pâté sandwiches, potato salad, cookies, juice, water, chips and garden salad. Mitch just stood their, playing with his shirt as we all got food.
"Mitch, I made the sandwich sand cookies gluten free just for you babe!" Kirstie said.
"I'm not hungry..." He mumbled.
"Please eat something...?" I asked.
"Fuck, are they trying to make me look fat..?" He said quietly. He wasn't meaning for anyone to hear him but I did.
"Please?" Kirstie said.
"Fine!" He yelled, grabbing a sandwich and storming to the chair. I looked at him and then at everyone else.

Mitch

"Mitch, I made the sandwich sand cookies gluten free just for you babe!" Kirstie said. I frowned, she went through all that for me.
"I'm not hungry..." I mumbled.
"Please eat something...?" Scott asked me with pleading eyes.
"Fuck, are they trying to make me look fat..?" I said under my breath so no one could hear.
"Please?" Kirstie said.
"Fine!" I yelled, grabbing a sandwich and storming to the chair. I threw myself down and stared at the small sandwich in my hands. Just looking at it makes me sick.
I look up and everyone is looking at me expectantly. I looked back at the sand which and took a bite. They all smiled a little bit. I another bite and soon I was halfway through, I felt the sandwich work its way back up. I put a hand over my mouth and ran to the bathroom. I locked the door and leaned over the toilet, throwing up the sandwich and some blood. Shit... Someone was knocking on the door.
"Mitch! Are you okay?" I threw up again.
"I'm fine!" I called
"Please open the door Mitch." Kirstie said sweetly.
"NO!" I yelled, simultaneously sobbing and throwing up.
"Please Mitchie..." Scott said.
Memories of Travis flew through my mind. I stood up but fell with a loud thump.
"MITCH!" I heard all four of them yell. I didn't answer, I just laid on the cold ground, sobbing.
"Mitch! Open the door!" Avi yelled.
"Go away! please!" I yelled
"Only if you promise to talk to at least one of us!" Kirstie said.
"Fine!" I called. "Now will you all please just go away?"
It took a minute but I finally heard their footsteps. I sat up and curled into a ball. Tears ran down my face and I dug in my pocket for my blade.
I took of my jumper and put the blade to my arm, pressing down.
The blood started to run down my arms and drip onto the white tile.
I cut about 20 times on each one, before throwing my blade into my pocket. I leaned my head back and enjoyed the numbness.
"Mitch, sweetie, it's been 30 minutes... Are you okay?" Kirstie called.
"I'm fine, i-I'll be out in 5ive minutes..." I stuttered.
"Okay Mitch. We all love you." She said and she walked away.
Another cut on each arm
Because she lied
And for just a second
I believed her
