"Let me go!" I screamed.

"Why?"' he had a mad glint in his eyes. "Why did you leave me, Lisa? You knew that I couldn't go on without you."

"You cheated on me! You didn't even contact me once after that, you knew I'd seen everything. You simply used me for..." I couldn't continue anymore, all the memories were coming back to me, as if it were happening right in front of my eyes. I couldn't cry, I couldn't be weak in front of him.

He was coming closer to me. My hands were tied behind my back, I felt helpless, I screamed. It was the only thing I could to, I could only hope that someone would hear my desperate pleas.

"Wake up, sleepyhead! Lisa!!" someone slapped me across my cheek. I woke up with a start. Zoey was peering down at me, with a scared look etched on her face.

"You gave me such a fright! Don't ever do that again!" she looked at me reproachfully.

I just shrugged and said, "I was having a nightmare." I got up and went to the bathroom, avoiding her questions. I didn't want to talk about it. I often had nightmares, but this one seemed more real. I was still shaken.

I brushed my teeth, showered and got dressed really fast, considering I'm a girl. I went downstairs to find Zoey seated at the kitchen table, with a mug of coffee and a newspaper in hand.

"Are you feeling okay now?" she asked with a concerned expression.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said, even though I didn't feel like it. I just didn't want her probing me with further questions.

"Guess what, One Direction are going to release their third album this Christmas!" she cheered slightly, trying to lighten the mood. "These boys are being overworked, I tell you. A world tour, and an album release right after that? But I wouldn't complain, I can't wait for their album to be out!"

Zoey was a big one fan of One Direction. A huge one. She could practically tell their whereabouts at the current moment if you asked her. I liked them too, their music was nice, and they were decent lads. But I couldn't stand Zoey once she started "fangirling", it usually takes a long time to get her to shut up about them.

"Cool, I'm looking forward to it"' I said with a smile. I really was, though.

The rest of our breakfast consisting of cereal and fruit was eaten in silence, and then we sat down in front of the TV. Grey's Anatomy was on, it's one of my favourite shows!

Our house isn't too fancy, but it is big enough for both of us. We have our own separate rooms, and a guest bedroom. Downstairs is the kitchen and living room, and a small room which we use as the store room.

It was a Sunday, we spent the day at home. I tidied up my room, it was such a mess! After lunch, I decided to pack some stuff for our sleepover at Sarah's. Zoey came in to help me, and did nothing more than chucking random clothes over me as I tried to pack.

"Zoey, leave!" I screamed, as a skirt landed over me for the seventh time.

She just giggled and sat on the couch. By the time i finished, my room had turned into a mess again.

I called up my mom, I hadn't talked with her since a few days. College has been very hectic but we finally had a break. I told her about our sleepover. I literally tell my mom everything.

"Have fun! Don't let Ziggy eat up your boots like the last time." I could practically hear her smile through the phone. I huffed at the memory, the last time I had been at Sarah's place, Ziggy had chewed up my favourite boots.

Mom handed over the phone to Lana. She's my younger sister, we get along really well. She looks up to me as her role model, I don't know why though.

"Well Lana, I have to go, I think I heard something break in the kitchen. No doubt that it's Zoey! Talk to you later!"

"Bye Li, miss you."
