*Zayn POV*
I fell for her. I couldn't deny my feelings anymore so I finally asked her to spend some time with me. When she said yes, I literally jumped as high as Niall does all the time. I didn't remotely expect she'd agree. But now that she did, I had to think of a place she'd love to go.
I have to admit the boys helped me with to come up with ideas, and I finally found the perfect one. It's kind of similar to the one I dreamt of. I just hope that Lisa would like it.
I took a shower and dressed up carefully, neither too formal nor too casual. It just had to be perfect. I put on shirt with 'OBEY' on it, that's one of my favourites, and black jeans. I did my hair in its usual up do, and wore white supras.
I drove off to her home, nervous and hoping she'd not reject me. I plan to make her mine, I want her to like me like I do. I'll do anything to make that happen.
*Lisa POV*
Zoey practically chose my whole outfit, and pleaded me to allow her to do my make up. I agreed, I mean I can never ignore her face when she has her bottom lips jutting out and pleading eyes.
"I'll do your make up and hair first, so that your dress doesn't get messed up."
I rolled my eyes. "Zoey, are you aware that this is not a date? I don't want to be too dressy!"
"Chill, I chose a not-too-dressy-but-cute outfit, and I'll do minimal makeup, trust me."
She was taking this seriously, well. I nodded my head and sat down before the mirror, not opening my eyes till she was done with it. I felt her applying mascara and eyeliner, and a bit of concealer. I don't like to wear lipstick so she didn't push me further.
"You're done. Look at you, oh my god!" I opened my eyes, and I had to agree that she did a nice job on me. I looked kinda different, but not slutty or overly done, it kinda looked nice.
"Thanks, may I go now?"
"Your hair! Wait. I think you should straighten it? What do you say?"
"Um, okay, I guess it'd be nice." She plugged in the straightener and sat on the bed. I did my brown hair, and it took about ten minutes since it wasn't too curly. I was doing all this dressing up stuff for the first time, and no doubt it felt weird. But the weirder part is that, it felt nice too. I felt confident.
I changed into the outfit Zoey had picked out for me, and I couldn't disagree that she had a great taste. I had this dress, but hasn't work it since many days. It was a navy blue dress which reached just above my knees, with a white belt running in the middle. I paired it with white low pumps, judge me all you want but I don't think I can handle stilettos.
As I came out of the bathroom, Zoey wolf whistled. I hid my face in my hands, I rarely wore dresses and damn, it felt awkward. But as I stated, I felt a strange kind of confidence too.
My phone started ringing and Zoey picked it up, since it was lying near her on the bed.
"Yes Zayn?" "Yeah she's ready!" "Okay we're going to the door" "There are no paps outside? Thank the heavens!" "Kay, bye!"
I put my phone and other items in a small clutch, and headed to the door. I opened the door to find an all black Mustang parked on our driveway, and Zayn locking the car door before coming over to me. It felt like I was in a trance, he looked so good. His jeans hung at his hips and the tattoos were slightly exposed from beneath the material of his shirt. I had to tear my eyes away from him, not to appear like a freak. I just hope he didn't catch me checking him out.
"Hey love!" he came up to me and hugged me, and I wouldn't be lying if I said I felt a spark as his skin touched me. it had never happened to me before, I'd never had this feeling with anyone else. It felt foreign, but nice.
"Hi Zayn, nice to see you!"
He released me and extended his hand for me to take it. I grabbed his hand, and felt the familiar jolt. What was happening to me? I couldn't help but wonder whether he felt it too. We walked over to his car, and he opened the passenger seat door for me as I got in. He climbed in and started the car, turned on the radio to a low music and we drove off.
"At least now you can tell me where we are going, right?" I couldn't handle the surprise anymore. I'd literally burst in some time.
"Nope" he popped the 'p', "Just wait for it babe, you'll know after like half an hour!"
"Okay then, I guess I'll have to wait. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, go on" he smiled at me. His smile was so pure and honest, it could cheer you up on your worst days.
"Why did you choose to hang out with me, of all people? You must know so many better and more interesting people."
"It's cause I wanted to, is that not a good enough reason? I wanted to hang out with you since the first time I met you, seriously. You intrigued me and I wanted to know you further."
"You're a celebrity, and believe me, my life is nothing compared to yours. I live a plain, normal life, go to college and just.. it's boring really."
"It's not, sometimes I wish I could've stayed at home and continued my studies. But I have a passion for music, and I couldn't just let that be, you know?"
"Yeah, I totally understand you." I do more than understand. I like singing too, but the only people I have ever sung before are Zoey and Lana, my younger sister. The fact that I like singing doesn't mean that I have a good voice or anything, and that's the reason not many people know about it. Lana made me sing to her every night, or she just won't go to sleep. She said my voice promised her a peaceful sleep. Zoey heard me singing in the kitchen one day while preparing food, and she didn't let me be in peace till I sung a whole song to her. She said she could sense a passion for music within me, and I should pursue it. But I was always nervous, so I never did.
"So do you have any siblings?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I have three sisters, but I don't get to see them too often these days. What about you?"
"I have a sister, she's almost three years younger to me. I miss her, I haven't been home since months!"
"You're from Belfast, right?" He remembers it?
"Yeah, I am. I loved the place actually. How is it being in the band?"
"It is really nice, because I get to travel the world with four of my best friends, who're literally like brothers now. I perform in front of people, which has always been my dream. When I get on the stage, I seem to forget everything else but the music. We have really good fans, so yeah, it's a nice experience. It's the best job I could ever ask for and it's all down to the fans."
I'm sure he faces some difficulties too, but he doesn't mention them. All the attention must get tiring sometimes, but he's too nice to mention the negative aspects. I can see it in his eyes that he loves his job, when he speaks about it.
We chatted more, and I got to know many things about him. He's not the introvert everyone mostly assumes of him, but he is quite the opposite when he gets to know someone. He laughed and joked around, and seemed really interested in everything I had to say. His laugh is contagious, it gets me laughing along with him all the time.
"We're almost there, love!" he exclaimed. I could see the nervousness and happiness in him, he really wanted me to enjoy our time together, it seemed.
