Regina's POV
I look around and see the pain. I caused this. I tried to be good yet I still caused pain and suffering. I look to my right and see Henry. His eyes are darting between me and Zelena. His mind obviously racing.
"Leave!" I hear her voice echo through my head.
"Never! I would never leave my son and you know this!" I yell back. We are standing in the middle of the square, almost in the same position as last time we did this. I know I'm in for it if I can't come up with something soon.
"Oh really? What about if do this?" She raises her hand and clutches the air, but I hear a choking noise, Henry. I turn to see him held in the air gasping for breath.
"Let him go!" I try to use my magic but she is resistant, I can almost bet Gold had something to do with this.
"You have 24 hours to get out of this town or else I will tear away every thing  and one you love bit by bit." She drops Henry to the ground with a thud but before I can do anything she's gone in a cloud of green. I race to his side to check on him but the charming a are already on it.
"He's fine. Just a little shaken up." David turns to me. I'm too busy thinking to reply so all he gets is a slight nod, I must look terrified. Once I realise this I harden my face.
"I'll be back."
"Wai-" But she's too late once I open my eyes everyone who was around me has gone and I'm in my bedroom. The purple smoke is still circling my feet for a few seconds before slowly drifting off. I grab the largest suitcase I have and begin to fill it. Clothes, shoes, jewellery and anything else I can find I may need, including money. As I am racing around grabbing everything I hear something crash behind me. Whilst whipping round I see the photo on the floor. Dumping everything onto my bed I slowly bend down to pick it up. It was the photo of me and Henry. We were sitting in Granny's and he had asked Ruby to take a picture of us. I ha no idea how complicated life would get. I never realised how long I was there until I heard a knock at my door. I look out the window to see Robin, alone.
Running as fast as I can I reach the door in seconds, slowly opening it to let him in. Unsure if I was going to be yelled at or not once he knew what I was doing.
"Do you mind if we speak upstairs?"
"Of course not." He put his hand on the small of my back and led me up.
"What's going on? Why are you up here?" He questioned as we reached my door.
"Don't be mad Robin." He looked startled before pushing past to see what was going on. The look on his face almost killed me.
"Your leaving?"
"Robin she will hurt you! And Henry! She will probably go for Roland too. I can't let that happen, I need to go."
"No you don't! We can fight! Me and my Men can help! Regina please don't do this!"
"I need to! I'm saying goodbye to Henry tonight and you will come to the town line tomorrow morning with me."
"For how long will you be gone?"
"Not long hopefully. I shall try to be back before Christmas."
"Christmas?! Regina that's not for months! I must come with you!"
"No you can't, you have Roland here."
"Yes and he'll come with us! Regina you're not going alone." I move in close to him and rest my hand on his jacket.
"I have to." I whisper as he kisses my head.
"Then I'm staying tonight." He stated.
"Of course. I need to go find Henry and the others though. I need to say goodbye to my son." I kissed his cheek before looking him right in the eye.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He dropped the hand he'd been holding and let me walk out, tears dropped down my face as I did.
"Mom!" I turn to see Henry speeding towards me. As he crosses the road to Granny's I wrap him in my arms.
"You're not leaving right? You are gonna fight, right?" He looked at me his eyes wide with fear when I don't answer.
"Regina? Just tell him." Emma stood behind him looking at me. But it was then I looked up to her with tears staining my cheeks that she realised, I wasn't staying. I had to go.
"No!"
"I love you. So much."
"No!"
"This is not goodbye forever OK?"
"Mom! Please! Don't do this!"
"Listen to her kid!" I hear Emma yell over the top of us, this makes him quieten down. I look up to her and thank her with my smile.
"I will always love you, but I need to go. It's not forever but until I can come back and it be safe for you all. Robin and I have an agreement and he knows when to call. But until then I need to trust you will not try to contact me because it may endanger you, Emma, Snow and anyone else we love. I leave tomorrow morning but I don't want you to come. I'll see you soon though."
"But Mom? What should I do whilst you're gone?" Tears were spilling from his eyes in a constant flow.
"Look after Roland. Stick with Emma and Guyli-Hook and the Charmings. Don't trust Zelena, ever. And stay safe. Okay? Stay safe. Don't do anything ridiculous or stupid! Okay?" I chuckled at the end but then realised it was time. I had to walk away. But before I did I gave him one last hug, one he wouldn't forget. I kissed the top off his head whilst he clung to me.
"Hey let's go get some food?"
"I'd like that."
"We can go if you like?" Emma offered.
"Don't be ridicules, family should be together." A soft yet sad smile spread across the face of each one of them.
Sitting down in Granny's we all ordered. I hadn't said to anyone else, nor was I going to, about leaving as it was hard enough to leave Henry, Robin, Roland and the rest of them, never mind anyone else I may cross paths with. Not that there would have been many I would miss.
"Wanna try some?" I notice Emma staring at my mac and cheese. She'd been indecisive about what to choose and obviously began wishing she'd gotten the same.
"What? Sorry no it's-"
"It's alright Miss Swan. Here." I dolloped a large amount on her plate then proceeded to quarter her burger and take a slice.
"There, we're even." I smile and carry on with my food.
"Thank you." She smiled back before doing the same, carrying on eating.
(little SwanQueen moment for you guys!)
Several hours passed until the clock stuck 8:40 and I realised I should be going. Emma and the rest of them obviously noticed this too. Everyone except Henry who was still laughing and joking with us. I peer into his cup and take note of it being empty.
"Henry sweetie?"
"Yes Mom?" He turned to me still laughing at whatever him and hook were discussing.
"It's time for me to go." This made his smile quickly fall to a deep frown.
"But we haven't even been here that long?"
"Sweetie we've been here for three hours."
Nodding to the clock his head followed and saw the time had indeed moved on without him realising.
"So this is it?" He looked at her with disbelief written all over his face, along with obvious heartbreak.
"I'm afraid so, but remember I will be back before you know it." I held his face in my hands, wanting to remember this image forever.
"Come on kid, don't make it any harder in Regina." Emma piped up, obviously trying to help.
"I'd listen to her, Lad, your Mum, Regina Mum, is finding it hard enough." Hook piped in, his 'Mom' distinctly different from the others.
Slowly we all stood up. As I moved to Hook he held his hand out but I refused, leaning in I gave him something I never thought I would. A hug. He was startled at first but kindly returned the favour moments later. Moving on to David I gave him a hug as he whispered "Good Luck" in my ear.
Snows hug was a little more lengthy then the other two. I felt her quietly crying against me. As she spoke a muffled "We'll see you soon." Into my shoulder. Finally as I reached Emma we stood for a moment. Just looking at each other. Not speaking but looking. Slowly but surely we both moved forward and into a hug. It was different from the rest. It felt more natural. Making sure no one else heard I whispered into her ear.
"Meet me at my house in 20 minutes, just you." I pulled back and looked at her to see if she got it. Giving me a nod only I'd notice she moved back and away with the others so me as Henry could go outside alone.
We stood at the end of the path to Granny's and I quickly pulled him into me for an almighty hug. For several minutes I just held him and he gripped onto me. It was him who spoke first.
"I love you Mom."
"I love you too, Henry." Our voices muffled by being pressed against the other. That was the moment I knew I had to do it. As I wouldn't be able to did the strength if it had been any other moment.
I let go.
I cupped his face ones final time before turning and walking away. Leaving him to watch as the others emerged from the diner. Tears slowly stained my face as I uses all my power not to turn back as I would never leave. But I knew I had to walk until I reached home, I just hoped they'd understand that too.
Twenty minutes after I got back me and Robin were snuggling on the couch looking at the blank TV screen. Suddenly a knock on the door dragged us from our thoughts.
"I'll get it." He kissed the top of my forehead before getting up. Hearing her voice I remembered I'd asked her to come by.
"Regina? Emma's here?" Robin came round the corner with a puzzled look. Walking up to him in the doorway I took his hands and asked him to give us a moment alone. He agreed and went upstairs.
"So Regina I have a question for you."
"Go ahead."
"When will you actually be back? No crap about soon but in real terms." She sounded stern and almost mad but her facial feature told a different story.
"Maybe Christmas, if we're lucky."
"Christmas? Regina we're in August?"
"I know." I hang my head in shame for lying to the others.
"Let's just hope we can get you back before then."
"Yea, let's hope."
"So why'd you ask me to come anyway?"
"To say things you will probably already know and do but I must tell you for my own peace of mind."
"Okay go."
"Don't contact me, unless something bad happens to the town or Henry or Robin. Robin will try to do whatever it takes at some points but you must stop him from doing anything stupid. Don't trust Zelena in anyway. If someone is acting slightly off presume they are Zelena. If you need me so badly I'll be at Neals apartment. You know where it is right?"
"Yes."
"Good, and finally. Look after our son. I know you would do this anyway but kept him safe. Make sure he stays out of trouble and please make sure he doesn't get a girlfriend while I'm gone. I need to be here for that one." I add in the slight joke in the end to try to lighten the mood slightly.
"Of course. Anything else?"
"Thank you. I know we've had our fair share of differences."
"And then some." She adds.
"Ha Yes. But I really need to thank you for everything you've done." I hug her one last time before releasing. As we reach the door she turns to me.
"Don't do anything stupid, and stay safe. We will get you back here so don't go thinking we've ever given up. We'll find you and get you home soon."
"Thank you, Emma." I smile and watch her walk down the path. Closing the door I turn back. To see Robin walking down the stairs.
"Want to go to bed?" He asks holding out his hand.
"I'd love to, I'm exhausted." I hit the light switches and head up with him, desperately needing sleep.

Ok this is probably about double what I will usually write but it's so we get off on a good start! I hope you all enjoyed it and please comment! I love hearing what everyone thinks! Also this is written before the whole pregnant Zelena and dead Marian now alive stuff! Also I didn't proof read so sorry for any mistakes and stuff! ;-)
Hope you enjoyed!
