I woke up, I was on the floor. I could see every color in the room. I had gotten so used to my black and red vision that seeing all the bright colors, especially white, made my head hurt, and my eyes burn. "Should I hate you or love you... Hell, why not both?" I thought to myself. It was no longer nighttime, the sun was rising. The bright sun hurt, I was asleep for hours. "Why?" I couldn't take it. It was even more annoying than it was painful, and it was enraging. I did the same hand motion as before, the one I did on the girl that caused her to fly across the room. The energy was focused into a chair, the chair shot across the room and broke into pieces on the wall. The pieces would fall, and lie on top of the remains of the once happy and delicate girl. It took a lot of concentration to move the chair, since I was in human form. I got up on my elbow and sat up. I closed my eyes and focused my energy into changing to my nonhuman form. It worked, my vision was darkened again.
I jumped up, effortlessly going into a front handspring in order to get to my feet. I walked around and I wondered why I passed out. Was I just exhausted? Was her soul no good? Did I simply not get enough to eat? Was it that I ate her whole heart instead of taking the time to pick out every piece of her fragile soul like a picky little child?
"Whatever. Not my main concern. All my new abilities are, if I learn to control them well enough, maybe I can kill my mother. And Kassandra, but that wouldn't be hard even without all the new things."
I stood on the top floor, it had railing connected to the staircase. I could look over it into the main room of the house. It had red carpeting. Well, at least it seemed to be red. I leaned over it and played with things down stairs. With every hand motion something would move, seemingly all on its own. In reality, I was just bored and training myself. It was much easier to do in my nonhuman form. It was practically effortless. Everything I moved made a loud crash, echoing through the marble room. There wasn't much furniture downstairs, but any bit of it was being destroyed by me. Then as I threw a small table, I lost control. It didn't go where I wanted. Sure, it still broke into tiny pieces, but I lost control. Which means, I have to train myself on this skill harder until I have full control.
I sighed, so far every skill of mine I've discovered I have had instant full control over. This was new, I had to practice it. I jumped downstairs, even though it was a large house, the drop was huge, and the floor was solid marble. I crouched down as I hit the floor to minimize the impact, since I still wasn't sure exactly how easily I break. I know how fast I heal, but not how easily I can break, I'd hope I'm a lot stronger than fragile humans. I stood back up and walked forward as if it was nothing, my footsteps clicked and echoed through the large house. I still listened closely for my mother or Kassandra.
I walked past room after room, then I stopped. I heard my mother, she was having a phone call. "Yes, just get the damned weaklings! I don't even care how tough or fragile they are at this point! Just hurry up, and if you get caught, take the cops too! I don't care!" She hung up and threw the phone on the ground, shattering it. She acted as though it was worthless. She sighed. "Now I've broken one of the spare phones. She had better get more of those too..." She mumbled. "Hello, mother" I said coldly, struggling and forcing out the words. "Daughter." She replied, glaring at me, and clentching a fist.
