Chapter Five

"Everybody attention," Phoebe shouted when they reached home, "Aunt Di has gotten herself a handsome date tonight." She finished off with a grin, satisfied that she had gotten everyone's attention.

"A date?" That from Diana's big sister Sharon. Diana groaned, why had Neil chosen to ask her out on a weekend when every member of her family was home?

"Yes, a date, and he's coming by 7pm to pick her up." Phoebe said, making people to look at their watches.

"Dear Lord, it's one hour to seven, everyone prepare my daughter, she has a date." Diana's mum said dramatically making everyone rush into action towards Diana.

"Oh no you don't." Diana said backing away from her family, "For godsake mum, it's only a work date."

"Na uh, only if workers kiss eachother." Phe added in making Diana groan and other people to gasp.

"Phe, you are never going anywhere with me again." Diana warned her daughter.

"C'mon girl, stop complaining, let's transform you into Cinderella." Diana's big sister pulled her out of the room.

Meanwhile, everyone turned to look at Phoebe, "What, it's true she kissed the guy." She said.

"Hmm, who ever knew." Di's big brother Bob wondered loudly.

"Yeah, well, God is good for all I care." Di's mum said, "Whoever knew my daughter would atlast be seeing someone." She turned to Pheobe, "Tell me girl, how does this man look like?"

"Well, he looks like an Asian prince." Phe said with a dreamy look.

"Asian prince?" Bob asked incredulously, "For a six year old you really have a way with words."

"Well, an Asian prince ofcoarse," Phe insisted, "He has hair like the midnight darkness, eyes like the blackest ev...."

"Okay, can you describe the guy in a way we can understand?" Monic, Sharon's fifteen year old cut in.

"For a teenager your age, you really dumb." Phe said

"Okay who do you call dumb you little thing, I'm so gonna kill you." Monic got up and chased after Phe who ran shouting dumbo dumbo, leaving the other people in the living room clueless about how Neil even looked like.

One hour later the doorbell rang and five people rushed to open the door. Neil looked confused when he saw a number of totally different people. He double checked the address and knew he was at the right place, but where the freak was Di?

"Um, hallo, I'm Ne..."

"You must be Neil." Di's mother cut in, "I am Diana's mum, and these are my..."

"Buttheads," Phe cut in with a grin making everyone turn and shout at her, but she ignored them, "Hi uncle Neil, good to see you again. Pardon my family, they have no manners, please come in as you wait for my auntie." She squeezed herself between the people and led Neil inside the house and into a nearby couch.

"So, Neil dear as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by a certain someone," Di's mum smiled apologetically, "We are Di's family and especially me, I'm so happy to see you. I can't believe that finally my girl is going to..."

"Enough mum." Di who stood near a grinning Sharon interrupted, "Neil doesn't want to hear what you can or can't believe."

"Actually I really want to hear it." Neil answered with a smirk.

"No you don't." Di clenched her teeth and stared at Neil who started back with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes I do." He insisted
