Chapter Six

"Mummy wake up," A sleepy voice woke Diana up. She got up immediately and looked at the clock, it said 6:30am, Di groaned and her head fell back on the pillow, her daughter was such an early riser, she didn't know what time she had slept yesterday as the thoughts of the past had consumed her.

"Babe, why are you up so early?" She asked Phoebe as she pulled her in bed.

"Aunnnnt,  stop it," Phe protested, "I've school and you have work, so get up and we make breakfast. "

"Oh my, I had forgotten babe," Di sat up and yawned, "What would I be without you sweety."

"Well, a slowpoke," Phe said matter of factly as they walked hand in hand towards the kitchen.

"Where do you even get these words smart mouth?" Di asked in a low tone and Pheobe shrugged. They prepared breakfast and sat down to eat. After they finished Diana went to take her shower since Phoebe was already prepared and just waiting for her. Gosh today she was feeling so lazy and didn't feel like reporting to her office. "Hmm, c'est la vie. " Diana said as she finished up and went to meet Phoebe who was anxiously jumping up and down.

"We gonna be laaaate, " She whined, "Actually it's me cuz you are your own boss. " She looked at Diana accusingly.

"Babe, C'mon I'm sorry I didn't hear my alarm, I'm just so lazy today. C'mon let's go." Diana drove Phoebe to school and later went to her work.

Nadia, her assistant and friend met her on the way to her office. "Hmm, did we have so much fun yesterday at our boyfriend's? " She asked in a childish tone when she saw Diana.

"Not you too, please don't say I'm late." Diana said with raised eyebrows.

"Actually no, but I see you didn't get enough sleep, you know, bags under your eyes."

"Arghhhh, lemme be please, do I have any appointment?" Diana threw herself in her office couch and yawned.

"Actually, no but..."

"And that's my cue to doze off." Diana said putting her legs in the couch and lying back.

"Hey, I was still continuing, you remember that lady from German who wants to come with her family?"

"Mrs Vaughan? " Di asked with her eyes closed.

"Yeah, she called in and asked if the house was ready."

"Well it is, it's the same house Neil has been working on, C'mon Nadia that was like months ago and I'm about to put the house on market if she doesn't show how much she wants it. Please call her back and tell her in two weeks time it's gonna be up for sell, so the earlier she contacts us the better."

"Okay ma'am, " Nadia said with a fake curtsy.

"Shut up. Anything else?"

"Nope, I'll tell you when something comes up, you should rest a little. " Nadia said and when back to her office.

Diana sighed and relaxed in her couch, only a few minutes and I'll be up. She said to herself as her body completely went off. She didn't know how long she slept but in her conscious mind she heard a door open. "Nady, has something come up?" She asked and no one answered. A frown came on her face and her eyes opened only to see white lilacs before her. "Ohh, and here I was thinking lilacs don't grow in this part of the world." She said with a smile.

"For a queen like you, we will grow anywhere."  A small voice came from behind the flowers.

"So you can as well talk?"

"Only for you our queen." The voice said again.

"Okay Seth bring your ugly face out." Diana said as she grabbed the flowers.
