Chapter Twelve

"I know this road very well Mr, where do you think you are taking me?" Diana asked with a nervous.chuckle. This road led to Fortportal, but maybe he was taking her somewhere else before they reached Fort, right? she tried to calm her mind but it was having none of that. A hand rested on top of her shaking one and Diana looked at Neil.

"Relax hun, I'm.not taking you to a volcano."

"Well seems like that's where I'm.headed." She muttered under her breath and Neil sighed.

"Babe, have a little trust in me." He was offended.

"I'm sorry Neil I trust you, it's just that I'm nervous." She confessed.

"Don't worry hun, everything will be just fine." He smiled reassuringly, "Now rest a while cuz we have a long way to go." Yesterday, after dinner, they had gone to Diana's mom's house and had.dropped an excited Phoebe off then he had brought her back to her house and had packed a weekend bag then they had gone to spend the night at Neil's house. He had woken her up very early in the morning at 4am saying they had a long way. Now it was almost noon and Diana was so sure they were going to her village.

Shit shit shit, how could she ignore the warning, she would have told him. She started panicking, Maybe she should tell him now, "Neil, I want to tell you something," She said suddenly and he.frowned at her.

"I thought I had told you to sleep." He said.

"I can't, I'm I..." She stuttered. Neil parked the car by the road side and turned to look at her.

"Babe, what is it?" He asked. Diana looked into his eyes, his oh so trusting eyes, she swallowed, how could she just drop this on him like that? There was a chance they wouldn't run into someone they knew, right? She sighed.

"It's just that, I love you." She whispered almost to herself but Neil heard.

"Oh baby, is that what you wanted to tell me all along? You know I love you too." He said and held her in.his arms. This truly was the woman he was supposed to spend the rest of his life with. He felt the hard box in.his Jean pockets and smiled. "Now can you rest?" he asked and when she nodded he turned the car to the road and he rode away.

They reached Fortportal at 3pm. Neil had booked them a suite near the Rwenzori mountain view hotel. Diana shivered as she turned around in bed, She had forgotten how cold it could be here. "Babe, I didn't bring you here to sleep." He pouted as he complained.

"Why don't you just stop your whining and join me in bed, it's really warm in here." She smiled wickedly.

"You are so.wicked," he complained but dived in beside her and she giggled as he snuggled beside her. "I'll allow this today but I promise you, tomorrow no sleeping." he wagged a finger at her.

"Aye Aye captain, now come.closer." Di.answered and pulled him closer leading to a hot make out.

"Wakey Wakey," Neil's voice woke Diana up as he.nibbled on.her ear making her giggle.

"Stop it you puppy," she swatted at his face and he paused looking down at her in.mock anger.

"Did you just call me a dog?" he asked

"No hun, I called you a puppy which is actually cute." she said and pinched his cheeks making him blush and wince.

"Can we go down for breakfast? " He asked and she nodded, "Good, shower and dress up quick." He.lifted her from the bed and led her to the bathroom.

"I can take myself there, thank you very much." she complained, he just granted and walked on. He opened the shower and undressed her quietly, "Neil c'mon, I can do all this by myself. " she complained again.

He removed her nightie and pulled her flush against him kissing her deeply. She groaned and put her hands around him pulling him closer to her. He pulled away and.pushed her gently in the shower with a grin on her face, "What the hell was that?" she complained but he just winked and walked towards the bedroom. Diana muttered curses as she showered, how dare he? He thought he could.play Mr.Seducer? well she was going to show him the pro in that game. She grinned and leathered herself.
