Before my dad married my mom, he had a little girl named Rayne, with his girl friend Kim. Rayne is almost a year older than me. When we were little girls, we did a lot together. She would come to see us every other weekend up until I was seven. Then her mom started making excuses about why Rayne couldn't come over. Eventually, Kim wouldn't let Rayne come to see us at all. My dad and I especially miss her. He doesn't have enough money to take Kim to court, and our dad also doesn't want to make Rayne more confused or upset about the situation than she already may be. Our dad still pays child support though. We used to bump into Kim's new boyfriend at the store every once in a while and he would say that Rayne misses us. I hope she still does.
It's been years and I've tried to find her. I've looked her up on the Internet and face book. I have found out that she loves to run, just like me. And that she's a cheer leader, just like I've always wanted to be. And we both are short and resemble our dad. But I also found out that she moved to North Dakota and goes to Williston high school. I hope that some day she will move back to Minnesota so I can find her.
