Valentine's Day is coming up pretty fast and so I just figured I should write what's on my mind about love.
People toss the word love around like a ship gets tossed around in a storm at sea. They say I love you, but is love what they really mean? Maybe they feel very passionate about the person they say it to, but is what they say true? To most people love is the happy feeling they get around their boyfriend or girlfriend. Or the way they feel about a certain video game or TV show. But is it really love we are experiencing? What I am saying when I say I love you, is that I truly care about you and would die for you. That I will always put your needs before mine, no matter what the circumstances of our relationship may be. I will be by your side forever because I believe that I should never leave my partner behind, especially in hard times because that's when you need each other's support the most. That I will be loyal to you and not talk behind your back or lie to you. That I will do life with you and support you through the storms in life. I will encourage you, help you and always be there when you need me, and when you don't. I'll laugh with you, cry with you and die with you. I'll tell you when I notice that you acting in wrong ways and that it's become a habit, because I care about you getting better. No I will not pester you when you fall apart now and then, because it happens, we are human. I'll be patient with you, I'll be gentle with you. I will have unconditional love for you.
I would like to say this to some people that are very special to me.
I love you Ashley, my best friend forever. You've been there for me when I've need someone to talk to and when I need someone to share my tears with. We laugh together constantly and do everything together. We come as a pair 😉
I love you Austin, you never judge me by what I say. You give me advice about most everything and your always someone that can make me laugh at anytime. 😜
I love you Will, you are everything. You make me laugh when I'm with you, and when I'm at home feeling the weight of life on my shoulders. You encourage me to hold on during hard times and tell me I'm strong and that I'll get through it. You tell me things that are meaningful about myself and let me know that you are here. 😊
