Sixteen ➵ New Faces

Two quick weeks pass and now, Vernon is out of the hospital, Joshua and I still haven't rescheduled our date, Dino is continuing to refuse any contact with Joshua and also, Wonpil is back home. There's only a three weeks of summer left until I need to go back to school unfortunately.

Right now, I'm sat alone in my bedroom sulking.

The boys are all busy shooting their new music video and I'm alone in the house, both of my parents being at work.

I hear my phone ringing and I sigh, reaching for it without looking and blindly answering the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me." I hear Joshua's voice and I smile slightly.

"I'm bored."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Why don't you come down to the set? I'm sure the boys wouldn't mind."

"Yeah, that's a good idea. Send me the address and I'll be there soon." I smile.

"Alright, see you soon."

I change from my pyjamas and into normal clothes, before leaving my house and heading towards the set which is luckily not too far away.

As I'm walking, I see three figures attired in black circling somebody and I frown. As I get closer, I realise that somebody is Wonpil. My eyes widen and I stop walking. After pushing him around a bit, they walk away and he stands with blood on his face, and when he sees me his eyes also widen.

"Areum?" He asks as I walk quickly towards him. "No, no don't come near me, turn around and walk away." He whispers loudly and I frown.

"Why?"

"Just trust me, walk away Areum." He warns and I nod slowly, not understanding.

I oblige and proceed to walk passed him, ignoring him as if he's a stranger.

What was all that about?

I shrug it off and continue walking towards the set, where their usual security guard is standing outside. He smiles when he sees me, recognising me before allowing me inside.

I see the boys singing along, their new song playing loudly, in front of a green screen and I smile. I stay out of view, knowing better than to interrupt when they're filming.

"Cut!" The director calls and the boys stop singing before rushing off the set.

"Areum!" Seungkwan shouts when he sees me, catching the attention of the other boys.

Dino looks at me annoyed, and I glare back at him before smiling at the other boys.

"Joshua." I smile and hug him tightly, the boys whistling and Dino grimacing.

"Hey, star." He says quietly and releases the hug.

"You two are disgusting..." Dino mutters and I once again, glare at him.

"You're just jealous." I tell him and he narrows his eyes at me.

"Typical sibling rivalry." Jun laughs.

"Boys, we need you for an outfit change!" One of their managers call and they agree.

"I'll see you later." Joshua whispers and disappears into the back room with the boys.

Once again, I'm alone with only their managers and workers surrounding me. I stand awkwardly with my arms crossed, not knowing what to say or do.

"You're Dino's sister, right?" One man, early 20's maybe, suddenly asks and walks towards me.
