"How do they look?" I ask Chan, smiling brightly and showing off my newly-unbraced teeth.

"Straight." He chuckles, diverting his attention back to his phone.

"Ugh, thanks for your encouraging words," I roll my eyes sarcastically. "You've been on your phone all morning. What are you doing?"

He doesn't respond and I assume he didn't hear me so I nudge his arm.

"What did you say?" He asks, confused and looks up.

"I said, what are you doing on your phone?"

He looks back at the screen, smiling shyly. "What? Nothing."

"You're texting a girl, aren't you?" I smirk and he blushes.

"No."

"Ha!" I laugh and teasingly prod his shoulder. "Yes you are."

"Shut up." He mumbles and I chuckle.

"My twinnie likes a girl." I tease.

He ignores me again, returning to his phone to message the unknown girl. I laugh and check my own phone, reading a new message from Joshua.

'Hey' it reads and I immediately smile.

I respond with a simple 'hello' and it doesn't take long for him to message me back.

'Can I come over?'

To which I reply with a short yes.

"Dino, Joshua is coming over." I inform my brother who just nods.

"No funny business mind..." He warns and I cover my face in embarrassment.

"Of course not." I laugh and make my way upstairs and into my bedroom.

After around fifteen minutes, I hear a gentle knock at my door and Joshua steps inside.

"Hey." He smiles and sits opposite me on my bed.

"I've missed you." I smile, not even bothering to say hello.

It's only been a few days since we last seen each other and the incident occurred, but it feels like weeks and the mere sight of him makes me happy inside.

He smiles softly. "I missed you too."

"What are we?" I ask after a few short moments of silence.

His head snaps up to look at me. "What do you mean?"

"Are we like, together again?" I ask.

"Only if you want us to be." He responds and I nod happily.

"Of course."

"You didn't tell me that you got your braces off." He states and I shrug.

"I forgot, I guess."

"Well, they look great." He compliments and I smile thankfully.

"Do you remember what happened, you know, at the party?" I ask hesitantly and he frowns.

"Something happened?" He asks cluelessly and my mouth forms a shocked 'o' shape.

"Erm, yeah..." I chuckle nervously.

"Tell me." He orders softly and I sigh, knowing that he'll eventually persuade me to tell him anyway.

"We kinda made out again," I tell him and he nods. "And you kind of, um, insinuated that you, er, wanted to do it with me..."
