dino's twin sister ➳ seventeen

Eighteen ➵ Shock

Dino's POV

"Where are they?" Jeonghan asks and I shrug. "They've been gone for ages."

"I don't know. Probably making out somewhere." I say with disgust in my tone.

"I'll go and find them." Seungkwan says and I nod.

"Dino, come over here please." Jongin, our dance teacher asks and I groan, walking towards him.

"Yeah?"

"I understand something's going on between you and Jisoo, but emotion is vital when dancing, you know that. Your dancing can never be its best when you're looking unhappy and glaring at your band mate." 

"I know, I understand," I say quietly. "But he's dating my sister, she's only sixteen!"

"That's not the point, Chan. Either you sort it between you and Joshua, or I will."

"That's not fair-"

Bang.

All of the boys including Jongin and I, look at each other with wide eyes. My heart beats loudly inside my chest and the room immediately turns silent.

"What was that?" Mingyu asks, scared.

"It sounded like a gunshot." Wonwoo states worriedly.

"I'm going to find out." I say and push passed the boys as they attempt to hold me back.

"No, Dino, stay. It might be dangerous." Hansol begs and grabs my arm but I shrug him off.

"My sister is out there."

I burst through the door and jog down the corridor, tears of panic and fear growing in my eyes as my breaths shorten. I turn a corner and see three hooded men leaving quickly by the exit, and I immediately know something's wrong.

"Help!" I hear Joshua's voice shout and I run towards where the voice rang from.

I see an open door and I stop dead in my tracks, staring at it in fear.

I take a deep breath and step inside, immediately feeling sick in my stomach at the sight.

Blood, so much blood.

I walk closer and I gasp, a small scream escaping my mouth. It's Areum's blood.

She's lying still with Joshua and Seungkwan by her side. Seungkwan is pressing his jacket to her wound and Jisoo is stroking her hair and whispering reassurances to her.

I start to cry, hard.

"Areum." I say with a broken voice and rush to her side.

Her skin is impossibly paler, her eyelids shut and her chest is only barely moving.

"Don't leave us, star, stay awake." Joshua whispers, his tears falling onto her forehead.

"Don't die." I say firmly and place a hand either side of her face. I hold her cold skin and try to restrain my tears, but I can't control them as they fall endlessly.

"I've rang the ambulance, they'll be here soon." Seungkwan says shakily.

"What happened?" I ask without looking at the boys, I'm just staring into Areum's closed eyes.

"We honestly don't even know," Seungkwan tells me, crying. "Three men just appeared. I didn't know what was happening."

"Seungkwan, please go and get the other boys." I ask and he nods, handing me his jacket to hold instead.

I thank him and press the material to her stomach, my tears falling and soaking through the material of her shirt.

"Areum!" I hear Hansol shout and he's quickly by the door, looking panicked and angry.

He also rushes by her side as the other boys stand sadly by the doorway, knowing we won't all fit in this small room.

"Oh my god, don't you dare die on me, Ar." He says and grips her hands tightly in his own.

"The ambulance is here." Minghao informs us sadly and we hesitantly move away from her, allowing the paramedics to reach her.

They lift her onto the stretcher and carry her outside and to the ambulance.

"Is she going to be OK?" Wonwoo asks, worried.

"She's in the best hands," The nurse reassures us. "Who is coming in the ambulance with us?"

Joshua looks at me and I nod.

"You go." I tell him and he looks surprised but thanks me nonetheless.

He climbs into the back of the ambulance and it quickly drives away, its sirens blazing loudly. We all decide to travel immediately to the hospital too, so we jump into our mini van and S.coups begins to drive us there.

It feels like the time when Hansol was hurt, and we were travelling to see him without knowing what was wrong. Fear, dread and panic all linger in the air, a heavy silence filling the room. 

I place my head in my hands and cry. I can't lose Areum.

I feel a hand on my shoulder, pulling me closer to them and I slowly look up to see Jeonghan. He has tears in his eyes too but somehow manages to smile just a tiny bit.

"She'll be alright. She's strong, just like her twin." He says quietly, his crooked smile looking forced but reassuring. 

"There was so much blood." I whisper I slowly look at my hands and sure enough, her blood is covering my hands like paint. 

I whimper as I look at them, my hands shaking. The boys look at me concernedly but I can't do anything but stare at my hands crying. I'm so scared.

"We're here." S.coups calls and everyone climbs out of the van but I stay still.

"Chan?" Jun asks worriedly. "You coming?"

I don't say anything. I don't even move, I just stay still. 

"I think he's in shock." Hansol whispers. 

"Let's help him out." Hoshi says and him and DK both gently pull on my arm and I don't resist. 

Inside of the hospital, I let our leader ask the questions to the nurses. I vaguely hear her tell us a where she is, so I follow the boys to the location. 

"Where is she?" I ask when we arrive at the room.

"She's in surgery." Woozi tells me sadly. 

We find Joshua sitting in the waiting room and he's also crying. I sit opposite him and he looks at me slowly. I look at him and nod silently. 

"I forgive you, Joshua."

I was thinking of writing a kpop one shots book but I'm not too sure. What do you think?
