Chapter 21

I sit silently in the plane seat, listening to music and thinking back to what has happened in the past four days in sunny Spain. The villa was gorgeous, own pool and everything. It was really fun. We went to different places; ate different and new foods, met new people. It was great. I loved it. I told the girls about all the things that had happened between me and Alex. It's pretty clear we like each other. A lot.

I play with the necklace on my neck, I've kept the necklace on ever since Alex put it on, followed by the soft kiss to the side of my neck. I still feel the tingly feeling I felt when he placed it on my body. He did call me. On the day we left, and at least once everyday I've been away, we talked about our day then random things, followed by me making him admit that he misses me. Which he did, every single time. I get butterflies every time he rings, Dad and Ryan used to call as well. Every time my phone buzzed, I would always hope it was him. I missed his scent. I missed his smile. I missed him. 

PING PING The seatbelt sign flashes, telling the passengers to put the seatbelts on.

"We will be landing in approximately 7 minutes." The pilot says.

I adjust myself on the seat and click on my seatbelt. I was sitting next to a sleeping Teddy. I softly shake her awake.  She slowly opens her eyes. I take the blanket off her body and hand it to the air hostess. She adjusts herself and clicks her seatbelt on. 

We wait for our suitcases to come on the carousel. I see Teddy's and pull it off and place it on the trolley she was holding. Brooke sees mine and we both pull it onto the trolley. I switch my phone on whilst I wait for the next suitcase to arrive. Ryan was going to pick us up, my phone started ringing. Ryan flashed on my screen, I pick up the call.

"Hello." I say through the phone.

"Hi, we're here. Where are you?" He says.

We're? "We're getting the suitcases. Who's with you?" I ask.

"Okay, well hurry. Bye." He says ignoring my question before hanging up.

"MY SUITCASE!" Robin shouts.

I quickly help her pull it off the carousel and onto the trolley. All done. We walk through the arrival gate and see the crowd that were waiting for their family and friends. I look around for Ryan's face, the girls copy. I see a hand wave at me; I look down to the body which holds the hand, Ryan. I walk over to him and he pulls me into a tight hug which I return. 

"I missed you." I say to Ryan.

"Same." He says as he pulls back.

I look behind Ryan, there stood a guy. He wore a pair of denim jeans and a white t-shirt. He had his regular stubble covering his jaw line. His lips turned up in a small smile and his eyes glistened in the rich greenish blue colour. I can't help my smile; I walk over to him and pull him into a tight hug which he happily returns. I take in his scent and the warmth of which his being in his hold gave me.

"I've been missed." Alex whispers in my ear following by a quiet chuckle.

I give a shy giggle as I pull out of his hold. 

"Come on, it's getting late." He says as he pulls me by holding onto my hand.

I look down at my phone screen; it was 10:45pm. Ryan and the girls follow us to where Ryan had parked the car. I help Ryan put the suitcases in the boot whilst the girls sit in the car. Alex comes over once he makes sure the girls are comfortable then shoos me away so he can help Ryan. I get into the back seat and sit in the small space left for me; I shut the door behind me. Moments later Ryan shuts the boot and walks over to sit in the driver seat, followed by Alex in the front passenger seat.
