Third person's POV

Charlotte woke up early as always to get ready for school. After doing her morning routine, she walked to school.

Charlotte's POV

It was pretty quiet while walking to my school. There weren't many people walking anyway since it was about 5:45 am and school doesn't start til 7 am. At least, I'll have enough time to study. All by myself...

I sighed as I kept on walking on the main route I usually take every morning to go to school. "It's really boring when I'm by myself.. No parents to support me and my achievements, no friends to talk to, all I have is myself..." I sighed again.

"I wish I wasn't by myself... I wish I could have someone by my side..." I looked up at the sky then back down to the ground. "But that'll never happen... No one is there for me, they think I can do everything by myself so they don't even bother... No one cares so maybe it's better if I don't care either... It's always been that way ever since..."

"Ever since..." I reached the school building and there wasn't a student, teacher, nor janitor in sight. Peace and quiet. And Loneliness. This is what I wanted, right?

I walked to the library to study and read books since the classroom won't be opened until after a while. The library was already open at a time like this. I went in and sat on a table. I studied the subjects I had today.

This is my usual routine for everyday. There's nothing else to do anyway, so why not study?

Third person's POV

Charlotte just studied until it was 6 and felt uncomfortable. It felt like she's being watched. She looked around and saw "Blake Parker. I should've known. After that incident yesterday, I should've expected this..." she gave him a stern look almost telling him that she can see him staring her.

He eventually got the idea and came towards her. "Hey Charlotte." he said nervously at her as he sat down on the seat in front of her. "Hi." she replied coldly at him, not interested to talk to him.

Blake's POV

~A while ago...~

I saw Charlotte walk to school by herself and I wanted to walk with her but she seemed to be in deep thought as of the moment. I planned on just following her to school and know what she does in the morning before classes start.

I know it's kind of creepy because I look like a stalker to others but it's still early in the morning and no one's around to see me doing this. I sighed still remembering the words she told me yesterday. "I better make it up to her today."

I just watched her from a far, but even so I can still see her straight, silky black locks flowing slightly with the wind. I really am in love, aren't I? "She really is beautiful..." I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her.

She reached the school and went straight to the library and I followed suit by just a few steps. She sat at the table behind the shelves and I sat in front of the shelves but still being able to see her. She started studying while I just watched her.

~Present~

I sat in front of her after saying my greetings. She didn't seem interested to talk to me.

There was an awkward silence between the both of us and how I wish she could just open up to me... "I'm here for you, Charlotte. You don't have to be alone..." I looked down as I said those words, "I want to be friends with you. Will you allow it?" she didn't reply.

I looked up to see her stare into my eyes. I felt pink hues dust my cheeks, I froze. She just stared at me for a minute before she spoke.

Charlotte's POV

I stared into his eyes and thought, "Should I allow him to be friends with me? Or not? I did wish for someone to be by my side... "

After a minute of thinking, I spoke to him. I can't believe that I'm doing this but I did it anyway, "You were the first one to notice me when everyone else didn't. Why is that?" I tilted my head a bit out of curiosity.

Blake seemed to feel tense and his face was red. "Is he alright?" he might have a fever.

Blake's POV

"She's so cute when she tilts her head. Is she aware about this?" I was shocked, this was my first time seeing her like this. I calmed myself down and answered her question.

"It's because you're different. You aren't like the other girls who are more concerned about their looks than their studies." I scratched the back of my head, embarrassed by my words.

"I see... " she trailed off. I stayed quiet as she was about to talk again. "Maybe I'll allow you to be friends with me..." I was happy that she actually reconsidered my request.

"Thank you. But why did you reconsider?" I couldn't help but be curious to why she accepted my request. "I don't know... I just have a feeling, I guess..." she answered shyly while looking down on her book.

I chuckled, "You aren't used to talking to anyone, do you?" a blush crept unto her cheeks which was kinda cute.
Charlotte's POV

I felt a blush surface its way to my cheeks. It's true that I'm not used to talking to people. I just shook my head at him. "We're friends now, right?" I looked at him seriously and he nodded his head. "But can we just keep this between us? I don't want others to know about this, they might bully me, especially your fangirls..." I trailed off. Maybe I shouldn't have given him a chance to be friends with me.

"Sure. This friendship is just between us. I don't want to get you into trouble with anyone." he smiled a sincere smile.

It wasn't the usual smile he puts up, it was a comfortable and welcoming smile. "This is gonna be an interesting school year... " I thought and checked the time to see that it was 6:15 am.

I quickly picked up my books and we both went to the classroom. As Blake entered the classroom first, all his friends greeted him while I quietly walked up to my seat without anyone noticing.

"I wonder what today will bring..." I thought and continued reading my book while Blake was being swarmed by more fangirls.
