Third person's POV
"I love you, Blake."
It was just another day in school and as always, there isn't a day where Blake Parker wouldn't get confessed by a girl or two.
Blake's POV
"So would you please go out with me?"
"This is getting quite bothersome for me." I thought as these kinds of situations have become quite irksome.
I sighed and scratched the back of my neck, "I'm sorry but... I love someone else." I said as I grimaced, showing my disinterest in her.
"Oh... O-okay..." the girl put on a smile, holding back her visible tears. "Why can't they learn that I am not interested in any of them."
The girl then ran out the empty classroom. I sighed, took my bag and went out the room.
Charlotte's POV
I heard the sound of footsteps running away and the slam of a door from the neighboring classroom.
"That's the fifth girl that confessed to him..." I thought, leaning on the wall. "And it's only been two days..." Jake added as he crouched down the ground.
"He sure is popular..." Lucy sighed. "You just noticed it?" Mark scorned as he picked up the dustpan.
I covered my nose as to not let the sound of my loud sneeze to echo in the room. "You okay, princess?" Jake stood up and walked over to me, concern written all over his face.
"I'm fine, Jake. There's a lot of dust than usual." I smiled and wiped my nose lightly with my handkerchief.
"Maybe you should stop with the cleaning, Char. I mean, you clean everyday." she empathized 'everyday' like it was an understatement.
"Yeah... But if I don't, this classroom will get pretty dirty." I consulted. "I guess you're right. No one really likes cleaning the classroom anyway." Jake agreed.
"Didn't expect to see all of you guys here." Blake stated from the door. "Just helping Charlotte clean up. You should help out with the cleaning too." Mark faked a smile as he handed him a broom.
"So... How'd the confession go?" Lucy butted in. "As usual." Blake sighed. "Pretty troublesome, huh?" Mark scoffed.
"Well, you are pretty popular among the girls here..." Jake smirked. Blake slumped down on the chair and sighed.
"It's the same as my old school. Confessions from girls everyday. I just want to escape it all, maybe just for a day at least." Blake admitted.
"Too bad though..." the three pouted in a joking manner. I stifled a laugh and finished up with the cleaning.
Blake's POV
"Why don't you just tell them to stop? Wouldn't that be much easier than no one confessing for a day?" Mark suggested.
"I'd feel like a bad guy for doing something like that for no reason." I reasoned out and laid my head.
"So... Them being annoying isn't a reason?" Lucy joked. "Why not tell them you're dating someone?" Mark snickered.
"Am I really dating someone?" I thought, raising an eyebrow. "There is such a thing as lying and pretending you do, you know." Jake added, erasing the blackboard.
"They'll probably ask questions about my make believe girlfriend." I retorted. "You're such a pessimist." "There's a lot of possibilities that could happen!" "Then you're stuck in that situation then. There's nothing we could do." they sighed, giving up.
"Let's just head home." I suggested, giving up as well. "If only she could be my girlfriend..." I thought and walked out the room.
"I wish I could help in your situation, Blake but I'm not really familiar with this kind of stuff." Charlotte admitted and laughed nervously.
"No need to fret about such things, princess. You'll get migraines if you do." Jake patted her shoulder.
"Love is complicated, Char! Let Blake suffer on his own." Lucy snickered. "Hey! To think we were all in this together. I've been deceived." Blake wiped his fake tears
"We'll be heading this way. See you guys!" Mark pointed out and grabbed Lucy's arm.
"Okay, see you!" "Bye guys!" they waved to each other and started walking.
Lucy's POV
We left the three and walked the other path. "I wonder what will happen to those three..." I thought out loud.
"Who Blake, Charlotte, and Jake?" Mark asked and I smacked his head. "Ouch! What's that for?" he complained, rubbing the back of his head.
"Obviously! You know those two and their situation with Charlotte. To think I thought you already knew..." I sighed in disappointment.
"Sorry... Well, we'll find out when the right time comes so for now let's jus see what happens." he explained.
"I'm getting excited for them!" I jumped with glee and giggled. "You're so childish. Getting excited over something like that." he laughed, ruffling my hair making it messy.
"It's not really a fair game though... The fangirls and all." I pouted, fixing my hair.
"True but love isn't really fair either..." he smiled and I did the same. "Yeah... I guess you're right about that." I held his hand.
"I'm glad I found you just in time..." I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Yeah, me too." he leaned his head unto my own.
Charlotte's POV
It was a silent walk in going back. Too silent. No one bothered talking about anything and it was getting awkward for me. They're too indulged in their own thoughts.
"Oh yeah! My mom told me to ask you if you wanted to eat dinner at with us this weekend, princess." Jake recalled. "She wanted to talk with you like the old times. It's been a while since she last saw you." Jake added.
"I guess I can go. It's been a while since I saw aunty as well." I smiled and agreed. "That's great! I'll tell her your response." Jake grinned.
"I'll be off from here! See you!" he waved and walked off. "Bye!" Blake and I said in unison.
Blake's POV
"They're so close with each other. If only we could be that close." I frowned. "What's with the sad look, Blake?" Charlotte raised her eyebrow, disrupting my train of thought.
"It's nothing! Just thinking about things." I reassured her. "You can tell me anything, you know. I'm always here if you have a problem." she gave a reassuring smile.
I smiled and we stopped in front of her house. "Well then. See you tomorrow, Blake." she waved as she entered her house. I waved back and waited until she entered into her house.
"If only you feel the same way for me, Charlotte... But, you only see me as a friend, right?" I put on sad smile and walked home.
