(A/N: Being forgotten by your friends hurt like hell. This school year is driving me insane so, I thought I could release these feelings out in a story.)

You lazily walk towards your school, like what happens every single day of your life. You go to school, unnoticed, you attend classes, again, unnoticed, and you go home, still unnoticed.

You were practically like a living ghost.

You sigh, then look down at your feet. Your shoes aren't that colorful as they used to be, even your face looks different. Your skin looks paler than a bleached shirt.

You gripped harder on your books as you carried them in front of your chest, as you saw your friends hanging out together before even classes start, forgetting about your very existence. And that made you fall in a deep depression.

You usually don't talk much, but still laugh. But now, not even a glimpse of you opening your mouth to speak or laugh cannot be seen. That is how worse your depression is.

You even tried cutting yourself, but you stopped midway. Because you thought of your parents, remembering how much pain and work they done for you.

So no natter how hard life is on you, you continued living. For the sake of your parents.

You passed by your friends, hearing them laugh and talk about things made you feel jealous--more depressed, if that was even possible, considering you were the saddest person entering the school.

They weren't like this. They usually care. But what did I do to make them stop caring? Your thoughts rang in your head as you walked toward your classroom.

Right. They stopped caring. Why do I have to overt think?

You continued to fiddle with your pen as you sat in the back part of the room. You were usually picking the front seats, but since people treat you as a ghost nowadays, you decided to just sit behind the class.

"Hey."

You were shocked to hear someone--a living person, talk to you. You considered yourself the biggest outcast in the school, so other students talking to you is a big deal. You stopped fiddling with your pen and looked at the person who greeted you.

You debated on answering, not sure of what to say to the raven haired boy who just sat beside you.

"It's okay, you don't have to answer. A smile from you is fine." You heard him say.

You only saw him in posters around school. He's the smartest among the students in the entire school--a young prodigy. Hiro Hamada.

He's your age, and you're almost as smart as him, but no one can top that robotics genius. You were both prodigies in SFIT, but he takes robotics, you take (your wanted course).

You felt heat creep to your cheeks when you heard him say those words. You only felt this once before, when your parents embarrassed you in front of your cousins. You are flustered.

You can feel him staring at you as you look away from him. But your face is still visible from his view. He let out a small chuckle.

"Don't worry, I don't bite." He joked, making you give a small, but noticeable smile. He grinned at the sight of you smiling and beamed.

"That's it! Smile!" He said, making a silly face, teasing you. You turned to him, making your face more visible.

As you saw his face, making silly impressions of some teachers and professors, you can't help but stifle your laughter.

"B-bwahahahah!"

That's it. You let out a laugh. A laugh. That made Hiro smile and beam at himself. He just made the girl of his dreams smile again in weeks of you not doing so.

"Thanks." You were able to say after composing yourself, which made Hiro surprised.

"Thanks. Really. I appreciate it." You say, smiling. This smile is real, not the usual fake ones that you have to force yourself to make.

Hiro smiled proudly and stared at you.

Finally. She finally smiled again. Hiro thought.

Hiro had liked you the first time he had laid his eyes on you. He practically knows a lot about you. On how you scrunch your nose when you try to figure out a math problem, how you let your hair flow, how you read-yes, almost everything.

He was always following you home, making sure you were safe, but of course, he was good at hiding himself. He didn't tell anybody about this, even his friends.

He was almost acting like a stalker, but he controlled himself. He liked you that much that he chose you over his robotics class that is commencing beside your classroom.

You didn't know that, but it did made you feel a little suspicious about him. You usually see him in the hallway, not in the same class, but now, he's talking to you, siting beside you-and you feel touched.

"You do know that this is not your classroom, right?" You asked, smiling and raising an eyebrow.

"Doh! I must've forgotten that my class is in the room next to yours, see you later (Y/N)!" He says, standing up and rushing to the classroom beside yours.

"Wait!"

You were shocked at your sudden action as well, but you already done it anyway, so you continued.

"What?" Hiro asked as he stopped on his tracks.

You ran to him and gave him a peck on his cheek, making him blush madly.

You looked down, blushing as well, when you let go. "I-I was really happy when you talked to me, t-thanks." You managed to say.

You were about to go back to your seat when you felt someone pull you. You were shocked to see that it was Hiro, kissing you square in the lips. You kissed back anyway after getting over the shock.

"I like making you smile, (Y/N). And I hope you always smile." He says after he let go, then ran to the room next to yours.

You clutched your chest, just above your heart, feeling it pound hard. You two were only fourteen, yet you two kissed, who wouldn't be flustered as you.

"I will, Hiro." You muttered as the students in your class started to fill the room.

You once again sat in your seat, but smiling broadly. Unbeknownst to you, that was a start of a new relationship and friendship. You knew that after that kiss, everything will change, and it did.

In a week, you were back to your once bubbly self, and now had friends-Wasabi, GoGo, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Baymax. Even better, a boyfriend-Hiro.

All because he showed he care.

And he did. With all his heart.
