Scribbling down notes on your math notebook--basically just doodles, mostly doodles, but with a few numbers here and there at least. You weren't totally focused on the lesson, once again, but since you know this part of the topic, you decided not to listen instead and gather your thoughts.

Sighing for the nth time this morning, you stared at the number-filled board in front of you and tried to digest what the teacher had said--but to no avail, so you looked down on your notebook and continued scribbling.

This pattern continued till the last subject of the day. Luckily, no one noticed that you are lost in trance the whole day. The bell rang loudly as usual, signaling the end of classes for today. Other students were happy for finally getting out of the school--for today at least. While you continued looking outside the window of your classroom.

Your seat was placed just beside the window, it was a win-win actually. You have a view, and your'e far from the bullies in your class.

Anyway, as the last person in the classroom got out, you stuffed your things in your bag and braced yourself for the long walk home. You usually took the bus home, but after that incident months ago, you decided not to--with all the gossips and snickering, you wouldn't want them to tease you again for that failed confession of yours.

"There, that should do it." Hiro said as he tightened the last screw on his newly made bot. It was for a project and it took him months to finish it. He even have to sleep in SFIT just to make everything work out.

Full of confidence to himself, he wanted to tell this achievement to his friends. He hurriedly grabbed his phone and decided to call the gang. And as he opened his phone, his wallpaper of you and himself flashed on the screen. Getting all nostalgic, he thought about when the picture was taken.

It was way back from summer vacation--you two were hugging each other, taking a selfie, with the both of you dripping wet in your swimwear.

Suddenly remembering you, he felt guilty about not getting in touch with you--in months! Eyes widening, he hurriedly dashed outside his lab to find the gang happily chatting with each other, not noticing his presence.

He then shook his head, he was trying to think of a way to talk to you right away and not let his thoughts wander, when he heard Fred say; "Hey, is (Y/N) okay now? I heard about what happened to her months ago. Stuck in the 'zone'? Man, that was rough."

Hiro stopped in his tracks when he heard your name. "W-wait what zone?" He said, turning to the gang.

"Haven't you heard? (Y/N) confessed to someone and was turned down. Apparently, her whole school knows about it." Fred replied, frowning.

"W-whole school..." Hiro muttered with a worried expression.

"Yeah. I think it is why she was kinda distant to us now. She's hurting and she's struggling to go through this alone." Honey Lemon said, also frowning. "I wonder who was the person (Y/N) confessed to though. I would like to know his side of the story." Honey continued. Hiro gulped after hearing this. Apparently, he finally remembered why you were not around.

GoGo noticed Hiro's sudden change of behavior and started to feel somewhat suspicious. I mean, all of a sudden, he comes back wanting to talk about you without even talking to them for months?  Now that was weird. GoGo raised an eyebrow and connected the dots.

"So it was you eh? The one who (Y/N) confessed to?" She said.

This made Hiro and the rest of the gang look at GoGo. "W-what do you mean? That (Y/N) actually likes Hiro? I didn't even notice..." Honey said, a shocked and worried expression plastered on her face. Hiro's face went pale in fear of being busted, but saddened quickly as he remembered your face when you confessed to him.

"Yeah. I didn't notice it either, until Hiro here suddenly showed up asking about (Y/N) when she's his best friend--I mean, he's supposed to know this stuff already right, if he's her best friend, wouldn't (Y/N) tell everything to him?" GoGo announced, and much to Hiro's surprise, she deduced everything correctly.

"True." Fred managed to say even under the sad atmosphere. "But, is it really you? Hiro?" He asked. Sighing, Hiro decided that lying wouldn't get him anywhere--so he nodded, answering Fred.

The gang looked twice as shocked since they got to know it from the person itself. GoGo made a face just like before when they were being chased by Yokai.

"Hiro, explanation. Now."

-----

Staring blankly at your ceiling, you felt nothing but pain and sadness. You were in your bedroom, lying on your bed, obviously sulking--maybe for a while to rest and until you stop thinking about Hiro.

Hiro. How it pained you just to think about the name of the person who let you go. And now that you think about it, he might not come back for you at all.

"Not come back at all..." You thought, then scoffed lightly. "I guess everything is over then."

After two months.

Greeted by the cozy and warm air in the Lucky Cat Cafe, you and your mother walked in and was greeted by Cass.

"Hi (M/N)! Hi (Y/N)! Can I get you two anything?" Cass asked cheerfully.

"Yes please. A cup of coffee and (drink of your choice) with a few (preferred pastry)." Your mom answered Cass cheerfully like how she greeted the two of you while you were busy looking around the cafe for any sign of the raven haired boy you loved.

Cass wrote your order in a small notebook and replied; "Okidokey-lokey. So, (Y/N), how's school? Hiro was busy and hadn't had any time to fill me in and your adventures with him."

You sighed. You might as well tell her.

"Uh, well, Cass, Hiro and I weren't in good terms in a while, and uh, wanted to tell you that you'll be seeing less of me around this area." You replied gloomly.

"What?! Hiro? You? Are not in good terms? Why?" Cass asked, sadly, but mostly shocked.

"Well, uh, we weren't communicating that much and uh, I'll be transferring to another school from another town." You confessed, playing with your hands, but since they were getting sweaty from the tension, you hastily wiped then on your pants.

"What? Is this true, (M/N)?" Cass asked your mother, in a rather low and voice. Your mom nodded then said;"Yeah, (Y/N) here said she wanted to try another school for a change and decided to just support her in her choice."

Cass looked at you with sad eyes.

"Aww. Don't worry, you'll always be welcome here in the cafe."

You smiled, then said; "Thanks, Cass."

As Cass walked away to get your order, you stared at the staircase that led to the house full of your memories with Hiro. Sighing, you thought;

"But I'll never be welcome in his heart."
