You walked through the snow filled streets of San Fransokyo, cursing at yourself. Why? You just buried San Fransokyo in inches of Snow.

You looked at you gloved hands with disgust. You never wanted your life to be like this. Losing your parents over an accident, becoming an orphan causing you wonder around San Fransokyo, looking for a place to stay--your life is at it's worst. Sure, having powers has it's benefits, but it also had it's downsides.

Yeah, you could make a really hot day into an ice-filled city, but of course, you are still young and doesn't have control over your powers yet. You see, your power is based on what you are feeling. It's based on your emotions.

Like now, you are feeling very weak and hungry, so little groups of snow are falling from the sky. But this snow hadn't stopped falling since yesterday, and since you started feeling this tiring feeling, you can't control your powers again.

You can't stop the sky for making snow. Again. You sighed and continued walking. Wondering what life could be without your powers.

You ended up in a snowy park. People walking by were freezing even in the thickest jackets and sweaters. You silently apologized to them for making the city of San Fransokyo cold in the middle of June.

But on the other hand, you even without a jacket can survive the cold. It was actually good that the cold can't bother you, since it's your power and all. But anyways, it's also the main reason why people kept looking at you weirdly.

You ignored their stares and decided to climb the tree near you for shelter. When you reached a long branch--that was actually good to sleep on, your eyelids were feeling heavier, indicating that you were sleepy. And you decided to close them.

"I hope that by tomorrow, I can finally eat something to stop this snow."

-----

You woke up to a bright sun above, but snow is still falling. You see, you may have winter powers, you still can't stop the weather.

Your powers are actually weird. Even in the heat of the sun, they can't even melt. The only way for the snow to vanish is for you to thaw them with your own powers. Not with the help of the sun.

You groaned. "Another day without parents and food whatsoever." You muttered as you slowly slid off the tree, landing in higher inches of snow. Which is actually good because it feels like a giant cushion. But at the same time bad, since now, your'e stuck two feet underneath the snow.

You mentally facepalmed and thanked God for giving you powers now. You actually needed it right now--not like when then sun is high up and it's really hot and you wanted to get rid of the heat, ending up with you freezing the whole city once again. You shook your head, trying to gather your thoughts on how to free yourself from the snow.

You then thought of an idea, it was kinda risky, but to get out of your own prison, it was worth it. You then pointed a finger upwards, a ray of light shooting afterwards, and a hole was made. This made you happy--for about five seconds.

You can't climb up.

Cursing, you thought of another plan. As an idea flashed in your head, you didn't notice a boy with black messy hair pass by and saw you trapped.

"Hey, are you still okay down there?" He asked, making you startled and notice his presence. You looked up and saw the boy who called to you. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and a red scarf--with red earmuffs as well.

"Are you okay? I'm going to get some help." He said, causing you to be alarmed. You don't want for people to be involved in your life in the fear of messing up theirs. Besides, you don't want for the authorities to know that you are alone.

"N-no thank you, I can get myself out." You said, hoping that he would buy it.

"You sure?"

You nodded and gave him a small smile to assure him. "Okay, but I'll be beside this hole so if you need any help I'll be there."

You felt his kindness warm your heart. He was being generous. You didn't even notice that you are smiling until you felt your lips getting numb.

"Stop daydreaming and get yourself out." You thought.

You started blasting small amounts of ice on the walls, but also being careful not to make any magic-ish sounds.

You then started to climb up. Almost at the top, you felt your feet slip on one of the ice steps you made. You readied yourself for the impact, but you met none. Besides warm gloved hands holding yours.

You looked up to see that it was the boy earlier. "I told you I'd be here when you need me." He said, smiling, showing off his adorable tooth gap.

You smiled back, knowing that this boy actually saved your life. He pulled you up and put his scarf around you.

"Thought you might need some warmth."

You shook your head, explaining that you don't needed it more than him.

"You just spent thirty minutes down there without any warm clothing, you surely must have been freezing." He said, patting your head to get rid of the snow.

"I am the main reason San Fransokyo is freezing." You muttered.

"What?"

"Nothing, just keeping warm." You lied.

"I'm Hiro. Hiro Hamada, you?" He said, extending his hand. You gladly took it. "(Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N)."

"Nice name you got there." He said, smiling. You smiled back. You felt happy that you found a friend. But you still felt scared too, fearing that if he knew your secret, he would leave you too.

"Wanna hang out at my place? I'll also give you a jacket to keep you warm, you seem to lack one." He said, smirking.

"Ya' think?" You replied with a great deal of sarcasm. Of course that gave you two enough reason to laugh while he guided you to his place.

"Here we are!" Hiro announced. Enough for you to widen your eyes. When you two stopped walking, you gawked at the front door. It read:

"Welcome to Lucky Cat Cafe."
