"Lizzie...Lizzles." I awoke to Luke whispering. "Get up. We need to go." I nodded and sat up. Luke lifted me effortlessly from my resting place, a borrowed coffin in his basement.

"Morning." I giggled.

"Ha, Morning. Come on I have everything ready." We headed upstairs. Luke had packed my suitcase and a few others. We loaded them into the car.

We took the swords from the fireplace and some food and drink from the kitchen. All the potions were loaded. We checked the cabin one last time before getting in the car.

We set off into the village. I popped into the local shop to grab a few things and I chatted with the shopkeeper saying we were going on a day trip. He wished us well as he said the weather would be miserable today. I laughed and waved as I left.

That was our alibi set.

Jumping back into the 4x4 we drove away out of the village heading towards the next one. We would drive as far as we could then have to ditch the car at some point.

We knew we had a few hours head start. We drove as fast as was legal and I put on the radio to keep us from getting bored. We stopped in another village to give us another alibi and after that village we started heading north. Whilst in the car I sprayed the perfume over the seats and in my case which was on the back seats. I then set to applying make up. I chose to wear a little more foundation than usual.

I defined my eyebrows a little darker and applied a small amount of eyeliner and a lot of mascara. I then used a white eyeliner on my bottom waterline to make my eyes appear bigger. Luke looked over occasionally baffled.

I laughed. "Focus on the road you." He smiled and turned back to the road ahead. I then used a bronzer to define my cheekbones. I had been skilled in makeup from a younger age. Even took a course in it so I knew how to change one's appearance dramatically but naturally at the same time.

I applied a lip balm. I put on a necklace. I then parted my hair into a middle parting and gave it volume.

"How do I look?"

"Different." I sighed and rolled my eyes. He smirked. "Good different. It'll be harder to recognise you now."

"We'll have to work on your look too if we are going to get away with this." He was the one to roll his eyes now.

That was it, we were now officially on the run!

After a day of driving we hit a town with a train station. We left the car in a car park and took all our bags.

We walked across town to the station. Using what cash I had been saving up as well as his cash we bought tickets on an overnight train.

We waited a while anxious to get on the train. This had been the longest time without travelling in hours. Luke held my hand to reassure me but even he was tense. It didn't help that this was the longest time I'd spent around humans and I was hungry. I took to reading a travel map from a stand in the station shop. I bought one. We may need it to help us.

Soon the train arrived and we were shown to our room. There was one bed and a small bathroom. We put our cases on the rack above the bed and sat down.

My thoughts turned to Mr Ackleby. I knew he would be after us. He wasn't the type of man to mess around. I just hoped they wouldn't kill Michael. He didn't deserve that.

I felt uneasy knowing we were now being hunted. I drew out the map and gave it to Luke.

"Where to?" He opened it up and set to work planning I watched him. He always was the planner of the two of us. I was terrible at this sort of thing. Any skills I had came from learning from Luke.
