*Scarlett's POV*

I woke up with a huge head ache in a room which wasn't mine "H-hello" I called out weakly.

"You're awake." A voice said coming from the bathroom. He started walking closer. I was overwhelmed with fear.

"Please don't hurt me" I cryed out.

" I would never hurt you" He said. He came out of the restroom and I saw who it was. "Justin! I'm so glad to see you!" I said hugging him tightly never wanting to let go.

"Me too" he responded, hugging me back.It took me a moment to remember I was in an unregonized room.

"Wait were am I? What happened?"I asked a little worried.

"Your dad started pulling you by your hair so I knocked him out and took you here to my house. I answered your questions, now you answer some of mine."He said.

I thought about it for a while, but then realized he deserved to know after he saved me from my dad. Who knows what he would've done. "Ask away." I said.

"Why does your father beat you?" He asked.

"I guess he blames me for my mother's death." I said.

"How did she die?"

"A robbery. I got scared and ran to my room and when they pointed a gun at me, my mom jumped infront of me and took the bullet in the chest. By the time we got to the hospital, she died." I said.

"Sorry to hear that." He said. I shrugged it ff like it was nothing.

"no justin im alright i should get back home i guess" i said standing up like how can i stay here.

"no your not going home your dad would probably kill you just stay here." Should i should i not?
