The party was going to be amazing. Or so I hoped that it was going to be amazing. I stood, just outside the Gryffindor Common Room, my heart was beating even more faster than normal. I just had a feeling that something amazing would happen tonight. At the party, tonight. Whatever it was, I surely wanted to know. And I hoped that I was right, that it wasn't just a childish false assumption. Needless to say, I was excited. Super excited. Nothing bad could change that. I was about to step inside, but then I realized that I still needed to provide the password. Of course, I was too distracted, until now that is, to remember. Luckily, I was the only one outside the Gryffindor Common Room, besides the Fat Lady. So no one else was there to witness my humiliation.

The Fat Lady looked up at me, as if she almost sensed my gaze, it looked like I had waken her up from a cat nap or something. Smiling, I waited for her to ask her usual question...

"What's the password, Emma dear?" The Fat Lady asked me, smiling sweetly, barely noticing my humiliation, or she just ignored it. Either way, it didn't matter too much to me. It still surprised me that she remembered my name. In every house, there were a lot of students in each year. She must have a great memory to remember everyone.

"Wattlebird," I whispered, just before I entered the Gryffindor Common Room. I was one of the first people there. So far there was just the trio, Nicole, and the Weasley Twins here. Nicole flashed a sly smile in my direction, waving a little. Her and Harry were sitting pretty close. I smiled back, and made my way over to them. A sound track by The Weird Sisters was playing in the background. Everything was going good. Keep your head held high, and don't forget to keep on smiling!

I heard the Common Room door open once more again, but I didn't turn back behind me to look and see who it was that was coming in. I just wasn't that curious at that moment, I wanted to know one thing, one thing alone. And I wanted to find out the answer soon. Being anxious, happy, and excited all at the same time might have seemed easy, but in actuality, it was quite harder than you might think at first glance. Just wait until you feel all of this, and maybe more at once.

"Hey guys, do you know when Seamus is coming?" I asked them, hoping and praying to God that they wouldn't be able to see my blush. Luckily, I am pretty sure that they didn't. Otherwise the teasing would have started. Questions about why I was blushing would come up, it wouldn't take them long to figure out why. They were smart people.

Anyways, Harry looked like he was just about to answer my question; but someone else beat him to it. Cut to the chase before he did, whatever.

"Seamus is right behind you, so I would safely assume that he is already here. Plus, the party don't start 'till he walks in." A voice teased, I turned around to only see Seamus Finnigan, himself in the flesh, standing right behind me.

"Hey, do you know when Emma is coming?" He asks, still in a light teasing mood, and not to mention grinning right at me, making me blush even harder.

"I should hope to think that you know who I am, Seamus. You have not forgotten my identity, have you?" I asked, this time, it was my turn to tease. I mean, why not? He already teased me, I was just pretty much returning the favor.

Seamus laughed, "Yeah, who are you? I'm afraid that I seem to have lost my memory."

"Aww, that's too bad, why don't you just go down to the Hospital Wing then?" I retort, "Or maybe this shall be able to refresh your memory. We can only hope..." I whisper, before pulling him into a bear hug. A few guys who had just walked in hooted ad hollered at us.

Once we break apart, I shot a deadly glare in their direction, "Real mature, guys. Real mature."

Laughing, Seamus looked over at the guys. They were young, either in their first or second year, "They are just jealous that I got to get a hug from you, since you are such a pretty girl, Emma. I wish I lost my memory every day, if it meant that I got a hug every day."
