Luna and I went our separate ways. She was going to her common room. And I to mine. The castle was quiet. Peaceful, which was good seeing as all I needed right now was peace and quiet. Quiet and peaceful so I could think...Get away from the world for a bit. I knew Cedric was going to be okay but I just couldn't help thinking about what could've happened... Safe to say that I shudder at the very thought...

Thawk!

"Ouch!" Someone's shoe sent me flying through the air and earned me a crash landing on the floor. Needless to say, it was a painful experience. Luckily I wasn't carrying any school books with me. Otherwise they'd all be splattered all over the hard floor as well.

"Fancy seeing you, Emma." Draco sneered. Heart sinking, I slowly got up. Of course it had to be the one person that I didn't want to see. How original? Of course it was Draco. Draco always knew how to pop into my life, making it miserable. Not today he wouldn't. Not now. Or so I hoped. I just couldn't let him get to me. I had to be stronger. I knew I was stronger. All I had to do was act stronger. It was simple. I was capable of that? Right?

"Sorry. I can't return the favor." I shrugged nonchalantly. Even though I looked calm, I wasn't.

"Where are your friends? You usually have at least one friend hanging around with you. Where's Seamus? Doesn't he love you anymore?" These were some of the things Draco brought up. Draco was really starting to tick me off.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." I replied. Okay, more like mumbled, but Draco was still close enough in proximity to hear me.

He did the only thing that he was good at; he smirked.

"Come on, you know that that's bull. All of that 'sticks and stones' business is crap. Not true a bit. Words can hurt a person the most." He retorted.

"And how would you know, Malfoy? How would you know?"

"I just do," Draco snapped, then he calmed a bit. "You still never answered my questions."

"Well then I hope that you enjoy disappointment. Because I'm not going to answer them. You can't make me."

"Wanna bet?"

He got me. There was no way that I was betting against him, no matter how much I hated him.

Draco stepped toward me. I took a step back. Don't let him get to you, I thought to myself…

I stepped forward. "Draco, stop." Closing my eyes, I imagined Draco was gone. Too bad when I opened them that he was still there.

"You know you don't want me too." He placed an arm around me. Then his other arm on the other side. Boxing me in. Making sure I couldn't move. He had control.

Why did I always mess things up? Why? Why? Why?

"You're my girl. Not Seamus's. Mine. Got that? I don't care about Finnigan."

I was in a nutshell. No way out. No way to say no.

Trapped.

"No."

Draco stepped closer, his arms around my neck, as if we were dancing. "Yes. Because I say so. It's fun to see you fighting your destiny."

He looked at me, still smirking. And before I could stop him…

He kissed me.
