I inhaled deeply, fixing my robes as I headed toward Draco. He looked over at me and smiled grimly. "Is this about what I think it's going to be about?" He asks me, slipping a hand in his pockets as he leaned against the wall.
"That depends on what you were expecting. Draco, I’ve been doing some thinking for a while now, honestly. I was thinking we should tell them, my friends, what’s been going on between us. It’s kind of something, right? I feel bad sneaking around and I would rather they find out from us rather than them finding out from someone else or if they catch us…They probably won't understand it anymore than I can but they deserve the truth." I said, sighing as I brushed a few strands of hair away from my face.
Draco thought a moment, “Perhaps you’re right but you know what they think of me. They’ll just lecture you and who knows what else they might do—“
“It’s okay. I mean, it’s not like it’ll last forever right? Plus, I know Cedric will stay loyal to me no matter what at least. He’s my flesh and blood. The others not so much but I still think it is worth a shot.”
"Okay." Draco had a somewhat distant look in his eyes, I had no way of knowing what he was truly thinking. "When?"
"Now? Before I lose my confidence and chicken out. I asked them to meet me by the library in about ten minutes."
Draco shrugged, "Whatever you want, I guess. I need to drop something off to a teacher but I'll meet you there."

Hermione arrived first and I stepped out of the shadows and into the light, hugging my friend. Nicole arrived a minute after her. Great, now I had no way of getting out of this. Harry and the others would be here in about five minutes at the latest, and I had no escape plan. Why did I think I could do this? Why did this even have to happen?
Chills ran up and down my arms as I felt my throat close up. I was running out of time to think of what to say. Thinking and doing were two completely different things.
"Are you okay?" Nicole asked. She was looking a little confused as she turned and saw Draco. I nodded and she mumbled something that I couldn't quite catch.
"What's Malfoy doing here?" Harry glanced at him, his eyes not looking all that friendly.
Draco's mouth twitched slightly, "Potter." Neither of them spoke another word; just exchanged glares.
"Well that's kind of what I wanted to talk about-Draco. He and I are sort of friends. I mean, he's not too bad once you get to know him. He's just lost like the rest of us. His family misled him, morphed him into what they wanted him to be. He's nothing like his father." Admitting it was easier than I thought but then again, it was the reaction that would be the hardest.
A couple collective gasps came from Hermione and Nicole, their eyes wide. Seamus turned and faced away from me. The guilt that I had always felt came back, and this time it was painfully worse. Like a thousand knives piercing me all at once. He probably hates me now, the sad thing is, I can't blame him. All this time I have been lying. Perhaps we would be better off breaking up.
"Bloody hell! You really are fraternizing with the enemy! How could you?" Ron shook his head in disbelief.
Harry sighed, "I kind of already knew something was up, just wasn't sure what. I didn't want any more drama, I've been suspecting something for a while now." He seemed calm, at least right now. Once it sank in more, would he be angry?
Cedric sent a death glare to Draco, his eyes filled with mistrust. "Are you sure he isn't like forcing you to say this? This isn't like you. This can't be possible...can it?"
