Hopefully, I will find him in the hallways today. Maybe. If everything went all according to plan. If not, I was pretty much screwed to say the least. Who was I kidding? Would I be able to talk to Draco? What if I just didn't go to the Black Lake tonight altogether? Pretend I fell asleep or something. Or something. There was always something, always. That, at least, gave me some hope.

A few other sixth year students were also unpacking their things. It was what I should have been doing as well. Instead, I changed my clothes and ran out into the Gryffindor Common Room. Everyone was coming in and was about.

Without meaning to, I made a younger student trip and fall. She glared at me, she looked at least a fourth or fifth year. She was pretty, with long light brown hair and hazel eyes. A few freckles were spread out and were scattered around on her cheek. Her face twisted up in disgust, she didn't look as pretty anymore with that face. "Watch where you're going!" She cried out, picking up her lost items off of the floor.

I winced, muttering a sorry before I eventually made it outside the mess and into the hallways. I had never seen her around here before. Who was she? All thoughts of this girl drifted away when I found Nicole.

"Hey, Emma!" She called out, waving her arms, motioning for me to come over to where she was. I smiled, gladly making my way over to her.

"Hey, how are you?" I asked her. I was in a pretty happy mood, despite the dilemma about the lake. Or maybe it was my attempt at trying to ignore the fact that tonight would go horribly wrong if I tried to meet up with both Draco and Seamus.

Nicole blushed, "Good...I am still a little tired, though. Ran into Ron and Hermione a few days ago in Hogsmeade. I've always wondered about the couple." She grinned deviously at me, giggling a little. I joined in as well. Laughing with her made me feel better. More normal. More hopeful that things would go back to normal...Or as normal as they could ever get with me.

I agreed, nodding my head, "Me too. I knew they liked each other; they just didn't know it yet!" Nicole grinned, her face held a dreamy expression, "It was destined to be!" She winked, "Professor Trelawney," she mouthed, and I finally got it. That sent the two of us into fits of laughter.

"Nicole Silverspoon, just the student I was looking for," A voice interrupts. For a second I was worried it was Professor Trelawney. Then again, the voice was a mans, and even if the professor was around, she wouldn't hear. She was too busy in the world of the 'beyond' to pay any attention.

We looked up. Professor Snape was standing right in front of us, his arms crossed ever so disapprovingly. "If you would, come with me please. You and Mr. Potter have an issue we must discuss. It is of great importance." Nicole sighed, "Yes, professor..."

Professor Snape smirked, "Good. Follow me. Mr. Potter is already there, waiting for us to arrive."

"Good luck," I whispered to her before she left. Her eyes widened, she faked gagging, then winked.

"Thanks," she whispered back, and she disappeared down the hallway with Professor Snape.

I was on my own again. Possibly was a good thing. Possibly was a bad thing. I guess I'll see later on. My mind deep in thought, I wandered around the castle, barely noticing anything. Secretly hoping to run into Draco, straighten things out. Although I could still pretend to fall asleep. Then again, maybe they would find each other at the Black Lake, then I would have some explaining to do.

Even if I pretended to fall asleep, the drama would still remain. Thinking a moment, I stop dead in my tracks, turn around, and head towards a certain corridor. I was heading towards the Slytherin Common Room, my way was filled with stairs and hallways. Students and professors, they were all eager to be coming back.
