Chapter 11 - Feelings

~~Liam's P.O.V.~~

IT'S OBVIOUS ACTUALLY! Niall fancies Kat. I can see it in his eyes to be honest. I haven't seen his eyes shine like that since he saw that Oreo creme cake Paul brought back to the flat from the bakery. Of COURSE he loves food. It took forever to convince him that there was plenty of food after that whole 'No more food in the entire world' dream. But wait... that means he loves Kat. Katie Walker as in Zayn's cousin. Oi, this can't end good.

What am I going to do?

Of course I'm the peace keeper. I keep everyone inline next to Paul and Uncle Si. Obviously if Niall makes a move then Zayn will go bloody ballistic. Just after we arrived at the airport and waited for Katie he said, "This is my brand new cousin lads. I don't even know what she looks like. But it is crucial we make her welcomed into the 1D family. That means no one dates her, no one is mean to her, and try to be friends. Don't mention anything to her about her father please."

Thats why he was so upset when he thought that she and Niall were flirting. I'll tell you one thing: Katie has Zayn's temper.

I think they'd be cute together. Niall and Katie. Hmm... Katie Horan. Oi. I'm getting ahead of myself here. Zayn would never allow that... or... would he? I guess time will tell.

~~3rd person~~

The others all thought that Niall and Katie would be a cute couple. Niall was blushing bright red. Zayn stared down Niall the entire time thinking. Katie was upstairs sleeping and was dreaming of her mom. Finally Zayn broke the silence by saying something nobody expected.

"Ask her out if you want. Just not now. Wait until she gets settled in."

Everyone stared at Zayn wide eyed. Niall's jaw dropped and he stared in disbelief.

"But you said-"

"Forget what I said Niall. I haven't seen you this hung up over someone ever. You follow her around like a puppy that got kicked in the face. You comfort her and always complement her."

"But thats what mates do-"

"Niall. Stop lying. I know you fancy her. Its obvious. You can't sit still. You blush more than often. You stare at her when she's not looking. You giggle all the time around her. Your eyes sparkle when you see her."

"Zayn-"

"Seriously Niall. Admit it." Perrie injects.

'Is it that obvious?' Niall thinks.

"I-... yeah. I guess. I don't know. I mean..." Niall says quietly.

"You fancy Katie?" Safaa asks making Niall freeze. He looks at the smiling girl and nods.

"You'd look cute together." She complements.

"Why aren't you jealous?" Niall asks thinking 'She had a crush on me. Why is she smiling?'

"Because then you won't forget about me. I love Katie and I love you and you both love me. You won't forget about me. You can't." She says puzzling the others.

They weren't at the ice cream shop so they didn't understand.

Niall's face goes blank as he remembers the state of shock he was in at the time. A shy smile grows and he pats her head. "I told you before. No one could ever forget about you."

"Ask her out. Just wait a while before you do." Zayn tells him before standing up and walking to his room.
