Chapter 12: Friend? or Foe?

Hey guy's I wish I have an excuse for how long you had to wait, but in truth I was just being lazy and I had no inspiration. But here it is, sorry for the long wait.

Bunny's POV

I and the rest of the guardians, excluding that childish snow bank, have been walking for a long time now, and when I say long, I mean LONG. We all were really nervous and even, though I don't like to admit it, scared.

Why was it taking so long to find that darn winter spirit?! And why didn't he send a signal from where he was!?

"Aaah! What did that walking freezer do! Where in the name of Easter did he go!"

"!!!"

"Shhhh! Bunny quiet for second. I feel something."

"Don't tell me, its your tummy." I said motioning to my midsection

I couldn't help but role my eyes at him. Its always the stomach. THATS NOT EVEN A REAL REASON, FOR MANNY'S SAKE! Putting all his faith in a gut feeling! I have to admit, he has pretty good intuition. But still, first he interrupt Easter ten years ago, and now he is placing his faith in his stomach while we are trying to find two important people!... Ok one important person and a childish spirit.

I was brought back to the world when we heard a scream.

Third person in Pitch's lair

Pitch paced in the middle of the room, he knew something was off. But he just couldn't put his finger on it. That's when a light bulb went off...

'THAT GIRL!!! She was acting different! Like she was protecting Frost. Damn it! She regain control!'

Just then Abagail walk back in with an unemotional face. Pitch vanished into the dark, and reappeared right behind her. Startled Abby flinched and tried to jump away, but Pitch grabbed her by the throat and held her painfully to the ground.

She let out a painful gasp, and tried her best to claw his long and powerful finger's from her neck.

"So you thought you could fool me!? For that I will show no mercy."

Then pitch conjured up a curvy black dagger and drove it into Abby's side. She let out a bloodcurdling scream, then faded to black.

Grim's POV

I was standing guard outside of Pitch's "secret" hideout. Damn I hate him so much. Using me as a guard dog, I'll show him! He's dead when I get my hands on him.

I sat down on a rotten tree trunk and waited. If that snow imp was here then the rest should be close by. If I do see them, I would gladly tell them everything.

My thoughts were cut off when a scream pierced the normally calm air. Soon it was followed by a boomerang coming out of the thick brush. Lucky for me I had good reflexes, unlucky they had me surrounded. So I did the only thing that came to mind...

Bunny's POV

We heard the scream, no doubt it was Abby. WHAT WERE THEY DOING TO MY ABAGAIL!? The rest of the guardians and I race towards the direction of the scream. That's when we saw a worried face of sickness himself.
