You shivered and started up and the sky. Day 67, still absolutely no sign of The Doctor or the 'blue box' he described to you. You regret so much, The Doctor came to your work place, rescuing you and your friends from strange robots call the Daleks but when he asked you to travel with him, he was denied. It didn't take long for you to regret your decision and begin searching for your mysterious doctor.
"Still looking for that, what do ya call him? The inventor? The plumber?"
[F/N] asks approaching you from behind and tossing you a spare blanket.
"He's called the Doctor."
She looked skeptical.
"Uh-huh, and you still think he's real?"
A terse nod was all she needed.
"Alright honey, but you know living in a fantasy world it's good for the head."
[F/N] had been your best friend for years, and you had gotten used to the fact that she was not afraid to speak her mind at all. It came off as rude to people who didn't know her. You on the other hand had gotten used to her bluntness long ago.
"He's real I'm telling you [F/N]. You should have seen him, he wore a leather jacket, he had brown hair done real short. He carried a little glowey stick. A, uhh I think it was sonic something I can't remember."
She simply rolled her eyes.
"Sure he is, Hun."
Ignoring her, you glanced at the clock.
1:47 AM. You had finals tomorrow. You should have been in bed hours ago.
You grabbed the lawn chair and endless empty Starbucks cups and dragged it all inside, [F/N] behind you rambling about who knows what.
Opening the dark oak door to the complex you shared with two other people you simply toss everything inside your book bag.
That's when [F/N] began to rant about how important being organized and clean is. God help you.Trudging inside of the small, rented apartment building, you burden [F/N] with your blankets and star gazing supplies before bounding up the cement floors.
"Hey! [Y/N]!'
you giggle as you continued up the steps.
"I cant hear you~" you mused as hastily shoved the key in your apartment door, desperate to get away from your--probably ticked off--roommate. The door flew open and you bolted inside.
Not long after [F/N] stomped in as well, dumping your supplies on the ground with a huff.
"Daww, don't be sour!" she stayed in a mock-upset state. "Okay you leave me to choice..." with that you tacked her, ticking your friend mercilessly.
After collapsing in a fit off giggles and snorts the two of you agreed to go to bed.
***
Crash
You shoot up from your bed' startled from the loud noise. Another, much quieter bang is heard.
"[F/N]?!" you call, but with no response. You tear off the blankets and tiptoe into the neighboring bedroom, only to see your friend sound asleep with noise-canceling headphones on. So she couldn't have been the one to cause the noises. You head back into your room and change into a pair of jeans and an old shirt. Rummaging through your closet you find an emergency flashlight that you keep in case of hurricanes. One last check around the room, and you head down stairs. The eerie silence sends shivers down your spine, as if your apartment complex wasnt creepy enough, now the possibility of a murderer wondering around just made it worse. Bare foot, you silently crept down the staircase, attempting to control your erratic breathing and thumping heart.
"Ello!" all of a sudden a tall man with spikey brown hair and a blue suit pops out of the shadows. You scream shrilly and fall backwards in shock. You were so afraid tears spilled out of your eyes and You pleaded for your life, assuming the man was a murderer. "P-please don't hurt me! I didn't see your face, I wont call the cops!"
Almost immediately the 'murderer' was helping you to your feet, with a quiet laugh. "Im not going to hurt you, see no weapons!" he pulled out his pockets and lifted his hands in surrender.
"I do have a banana, though." he handed you the fruit. His bubbly demeanor caused you to chuckle.
'So, sorry, I heard a crash, so I sort of assumed it was a murderer"
He chuckled. "Nope! Just me!"
"Can I ask, what your doing here, its really late at night, are you visiting someone?"
He hummed before responding. "Well~ not exactly visiting, more looking. You see I got a message on my psychic paper that someone here was looking for me, and on my way something went wrong and my TARDIS crashed."
Your eyes widened. "T-Tardis?"
If this man had a TARDIS was he like the Doctor? It couldn't be The Doctor; The Doctor had short hair, wore a leather jacket and looked completely different.
"Time and Relative Dimension in Space, its sort of like a space ship."
You slowly nodded. "Do you have a name?" you questioned.
"The Doctor."
Impossible
"C-could I see your TARDIS?" you shyly asked.
"Not now, I have a friend waiting for me in there, but ill tell you what-"
The Doctor pulled out a piece of paper and a pen scribbling down something and handing it to you.
"-If you ever get too bored here, call me and ill give the adventure of a life time." you smiled.
"Deal."
"Until the next time..."
"[Y/N]"
He took your hand and brought it up to his lips in a gentle manner making you blush furiously.
"Indeed Doctor"
